Amie Jones, 71, of Selma, AL. transitioned to eternal rest on March 2, 2026. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Selmont Community Baptist Church. Ms. Jones will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will immediately follow at New Live Oak Cemetery. The compassionate staff and management at Ashley's J.H. Today, we would also like to recognize our President, Owner, and Managing Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, Mrs. Ashley B. Milhouse.

Mrs. Ashley B. Milhouse of Ashley’s J.H. Williams & Sons Funeral Home has been a part of funeral service since she was a little girl. Her lifelong dedication to this profession is evident in the way she compassionately serves families and faithfully leads our team each and every day.

Mrs. Ashley possesses a bright spirit and a warm, welcoming personality. She has a remarkable ability to speak with anyone and make them feel comfortable, even during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Her compassion, wisdom, and guidance mean so much to all of us who have the privilege of working alongside her.

She has always been known for helping others and giving back to her community. That servant’s heart is what makes her such an exceptional funeral director, leader, and example to those around her.

Today, we honor and celebrate you, Mrs. Ashley. Thank you for your dedication, your leadership, and the example you continue to set for all of us.
