John Cowans, 70, of Eugene, OR. transitioned on January 9, 2026. The Celebration of Life will he held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. inside the chapel of Ashley’s J.H. Ora Thomas, 81, of Selma, AL. gained her heavenly wings on January 15, 2026. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Pine Flat Missionary Baptist Church. Ms. Thomas will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will immediately follow at Temple Gate Churchyard Cemetery.
