Very rewarding case this morning. A patient who was on XGeva for almost a year presented with a 3cm segment of necrotic mobile bone in the left posterior mandible. To our pleasant surprise, there was tissue covering the defect underneath. The decision was made to conservatively debride the area without removing excessive amounts of tissue. Will place on oral abx, soft diet, and close follow up!

Music inspired by - 2000s hip hop (the best) 😂 And hey - all teeth want other teeth to be next to them!

So we did another flapless implant placement today site #4, previously extracted and grafted 4 months ago, placed 3.5mm x 10mm. Guided of course with pilot guide. Awesome torque, healing abutment placed, good to go!
