🎄✨ **’Twas the Night Before Christmas… EMS Edition** ✨🎄

’Twas the night before Christmas, all through the town,
Not a pager was silent, not even turned down.
The ambulances waited, lights ready to glow,
Under clear West Texas skies, no frost and no snow.

The stockings were hung and the kids were in bed,
Dreaming of Santa and cookies they’d fed.
While our crews checked their rigs and shared holiday cheer,
Ready to help if a neighbor was in need far or near.

So sleep tight, little ones, and don’t worry tonight,
Santa’s on his way — and EMS is on watch till first light.
From all of us at Seminole EMS, we wish you cheer,
A safe, happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year! ❤️🚑🎅

🌟 **Employee Recognition** 🌟

I would like to take a moment to recognize an employee who truly went above and beyond.

Ty, a new EMT with Seminole EMS, demonstrated what it means to have a servant’s heart this past Saturday night. While responding to a motor vehicle crash East of town, the crew came upon a disabled vehicle with two women standing outside. Believing it may have been the reported accident, they stopped to check on their safety. After determining it was not the original call, the crew continued on to the MVC.

Once the call was cleared, Ty insisted on going back to assist the women — stopping to change their tire and ensure they were safe before leaving.

This is the kind of dedication that defines Seminole EMS. We are blessed to have team members who genuinely care for others and are committed to serving our community, even when no one is watching.

Thank you, Ty. Your compassion, dedication, and commitment to service do not go unnoticed.

🔥 **Help Us Keep Seminole Warm!**
Seminole EMS is teaming up with **Blue Skies Mutual Aid** to collect **space heaters** for families who need a little extra warmth this winter.

📦 **Donations can be dropped off at:**
Seminole EMS Station – 401 NW 8th Street

❤️ If YOU or someone you know needs a space heater, call **Blue Skies Mutual Aid at 432-201-4598** and they’ll make sure you’re taken care of.

🚑 Because our crews run wild hours and stay busy on calls, we are **no longer a pick-up site**—we don’t want anyone waiting in the cold for us!

Please share to help us reach as many families as possible! ❄️💙

Just a reminder! We hope to see you there!

📣📣📣 Seminole EMS is proud to welcome Texas House Representative Ken King!📣📣📣

Representative King, author of HB 3000, will be joining us for a Town Hall Visit on December 10th, 2025 from 3:30–4:30 PM.

HB 3000 was a crucial piece of legislation passed during the 89th Legislative Session, securing $90 million in funding for Rural EMS—funding that is helping agencies like ours purchase much-needed ambulances and lifesaving equipment.

During his visit, Representative King will also share and discuss his priorities for House District 88, offering the community an opportunity to hear updates, ask questions, and engage directly with their elected representative.

We invite everyone to stop by, say hello, and be part of this important conversation.

📞 **Friendly Reminder: Our Morning Call Program is still going strong!**

For **45 years**, Seminole EMS has proudly offered this free service to our community. Elderly couples and widowed residents needing a daily wellness check are encouraged to sign up.

Here’s how it works:
✔️ After a simple application, we add you to our morning call list.
✔️ We call every day between **9:00 AM and 11:00 AM** to make sure you’re doing well.
✔️ If we’re unable to reach you after **three attempts**, we respond to your residence for a **wellness check**.
✔️ As part of the application, we securely store a house key—kept in a **locked box inside a locked room**—so we can check on you without causing damage to your home.

This program gives peace of mind to families who live out of town and helps our older citizens maintain their independence while staying safe.
