November is Hospice Appreciation Month! For 36 years, our community has been blessed with quality, compassionate hospice care! Headquartered in Seneca, Prisma Health's Hospice of the Foothills services span across the upstate- providing hospice care at home, hospice care in our hospitals and nursing homes and in our inpatient hospice facility- The Cottingham House!

This month, OMH Foundation is partnering with our community to show our support for Prisma Health Hospice of the Foothills! You are invited to DINE OUT, and SHOP LOCAL FOR HOSPICE as these partners give back!

Fighting for a cure and spreading hope, Pinktober was a remarkable month to honor and remember those touched by cancer! OMH Foundation wishes to thank our many partners who organized special activities across the community to bring awareness to the cause and give back right here!

Let's celebrate the holidays and the gift of hospice! Join us for our 22nd Annual Christmas Tree Festival. The week-long festival includes activities for all and takes place the week following Thanksgiving. So grateful to Heather's family, CU alumni and friends for this incredible partnership to honor the legacy of a wonderful lady! Donations will support Prisma Health's Cancer Institute in Seneca as we work to ensure those less fortunate have "fuel for the fight," meeting transportation, food and medication needs during treatment. Together, we are All in for BOOMIE and all in for the TIGERS!

OMH Foundation held its 18th Annual Golf Classic last month! Thanks to our title sponsors: Oconee Federal Charitable Foundation, Hub and all of our supporters, it was a tremendous success! The event's net proceeds to support the OMH Dental Clinic and greatest hospital needs totaled $62,000! These checks were presented to leaders this week! Thank you all who sponsored, played and participated in the golf ball drop to compassionate, quality care at our community hospital!

Enjoyed meeting new friends last night as OMH Foundation's Women in Philanthropy Group gathered for its annual Member / Guest Social! Members of this collective giving society share a passion for quality healthcare and philanthropy. Last year, we were 91 women strong... can't wait to see who will join our dynamic group this year? In just six years, this group alone has provided more than $400k in support for many different healthcare services! Thankful for these ladies who make such an impact!
