Day 30 of 42 Days of Holiday Cheer!
Today marks the first day of Kwanzaa. We spent time learning about the history, values, and culture behind this meaningful seven-day celebration.

Today is also Day 2 of our Holiday Happy Hour series! 🍓✨
Our culinary team treated us to a refreshing strawberry purée Sauvignon Blanc spritzer, paired perfectly with a strawberry, basil, and feta salad served in a crispy phyllo nest.

A day full of learning, culture, and delicious flavors!

Merry Christmas!! Today we passed out gifts to our residents and kicked off our 12 Days of Christmas Culinary Celebration!
Did you know the 12 Days of Christmas actually begin on Christmas Day? 👀
On the 1st day of Christmas, our culinary team served up a delicious pear dessert — the perfect sweet start! 🍐✨

Day 28 of 42 Days of Holiday Cheer ✨
’Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the community, the spirit of the season was alive and well. Our Executive Director, Stephanie, shared ’Twas the Night Before Christmas with our residents, followed by lighting the final Advent candle — a meaningful moment to reflect, gather, and celebrate together. 🕯️🎄

It’s Day 27 of 42 Days of Holiday Cheer — Happy Christmas Eve Eve!

Today we celebrated Festivus for the rest of us, and let’s just say… a few Grinches wrecked havoc on the community. Running amuck, crashing a movie in the theater, causing trouble in the beauty salon, and even disrupting a very serious game of Rummikub 😳

They weren’t all bad though — turns out the Grinch makes a mean green milkshake 💚🥤

It’s Day 26 of 42 Days of Holiday Cheer!! 🎄
Our cookie exchange party was filled with all kinds of delicious treats — classic chocolate chip, sugar cookies, frosted cut-outs, peanut butter blossoms, buckeyes, thumbprints, and more! Paired with wonderful entertainment from Logan Wells, it was a truly sweet afternoon.🍪

Day 25 of 42 Days of Holiday Cheer!
Today we had a very special guest join us for Sunday brunch… Santa himself! 🎅✨

Today also marks the first day of winter, and to celebrate the season ahead, we took part in a calming Winter Solstice meditation to help set our intentions and get into the right mindset for winter.

It’s also the Fourth Sunday of Advent, a day centered on love as we continue counting down to Christmas. 🤍
What a meaningful and festive day all around!

Day 23 of 42 days of Holiday Cheer! 🎄✨ Today was a jam-packed day full of holiday fun — from Bingo with Laurie fromSpry Senior, showing off our best holiday sweaters, to the drop of our Christmas music video featuring FIVE of our residents! 🎶 We wrapped it all up with live Christmas music from Adam on the piano and a delicious pasta bar at our resident Christmas party happy hour! What a day!

Today was also our staff party! Thank toBAYADA Home Health Care for helping us cater our event with Chick-fil-A and to Cornerstone Caregiving for providing some great raffle prizes for our staff !
