Alliance Health Education Initiative

Alliance Health Education Initiative AHEI is a 501(c)(3) public charity for health education-oriented groups interested in seeking grants to help fund health projects within their communities.

AHEI also welcomes donations to help us help others. Donations to AHEI are tax-deductible. Funds raised are distributed annually in the form of grants, which you can read more about on our website. To date, AHEI has awarded close to $40,000 in grants to health related nonprofits across the country.

🎉CONGRATULATIONS to an amazing AHEI 2026 Grant Recipient, Altrusa International of Mexico, Missouri, for their “Coping Skills with Books and Bears” project.

🧸This local community organization is preparing 500 books with teddy bears to go to first responders and people who work with children in crisis. The children's books, written and illustrated by two local authors and a local artist, will help the children to be able to label their emotions.

✨ Bringing comfort, connection, and care when it’s needed most.
