The Stables Autism Program

Our autism treatment center helps individuals gain self-awareness, acceptance, inner-strength, and life strategies to live a more independent life.

Our evidence-based clinical therapies focus on skill-building. Specialized residential treatment for adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and neurodivergent tendencies in Sevierville, Tennessee, near Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Our intimate 9-bed facility on a 25-acre property provides individualized, evidence-based care through our Social Integration Model™, TEACCH method, animal-assisted therapy, sensory integration therapy, nature-based experiences, and our Helping Hands Work Program — focused on building independence, life skills, and vocational readiness. A bridge-to-independence model empowers clients to develop confidence, autonomy, and real-world skills for lasting success. Private pay only. We’re excited to welcome Deanna Purslow, BCBA, LBA as Director of Clinical Operations at The Stables Autism Program!

With over 10 years of experience in ABA, Deanna has provided clinical oversight for hundreds of clients, trained RBTs, and implemented evidence-based protocols. In her new role, she will oversee operations, strengthen clinical practices, and support staff across the program.

We’re proud to have her on the team and look forward to the impact she’ll make for the individuals and families we serve.
