Christmas smiles!

This Christmas season, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude.
To the families of our residents, our incredible staff plus vendors, and the support throughout Sevier County — thank you for blessing our residents with opportunities to experience the joy, warmth, and magic of the season in such meaningful ways.

Our residents experience so much magic daily because of the many caring hearts both inside our facility and throughout our surrounding community. From small moments to meaningful gestures, each act of kindness adds smiles, puts a twinkle in their eyes, and reminds them they are deeply loved and valued.

Being part of something that gives purpose, connection, and joy is truly humbling. At Freedom, family isn’t about what’s under the tree or the decorations— it’s about compassion, support, appreciation, admiration, and love.

We are deeply thankful for every person who makes up our Freedom family, both within our walls and beyond them. Christmas reminds us that the greatest gift is giving, and it is such a blessing to know our residents receive that gift every single day — not just on special occasions.

Thank you to the families who trust us with the care of their loved ones. That trust allows us the privilege of caring for and learning from so many beautiful lives. The greatest gift we receive is the smile of a resident who feels special, seen, and cherished — just as they should.

A huge thank you to Jared Forgety with Shalom hospice for treating our staff to a delicious pizza lunch! 🍕 We are so grateful for your continued partnership and support. Your kindness added smiles, full bellies, and a little extra joy to our day. Thank you for always thinking of our team—we truly appreciate you!

Have a Holly Dolly Christmas
We had the best time being part of the Seymour Christmas Parade! Seeing so many familiar faces and all those smiling faces made the day even more special. We truly loved celebrating Christmas with our amazing community. It was such a blast, and we already can’t wait to do it again next year! Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible and made it such a memorable !

We had a music filled day here at Freedom yesterday! First, we were blessed with a visit from the kiddos at Seymour Intermediate, who sang some of our favorite Christmas carols! Then Steve Carr came by in the afternoon, and lit up the dance floor, per usual 😊 Thank you to all the choirs & musicians who have reached out to us this holiday season! You are always a huge part of our Christmas season here at Freedom, and we appreciate you all tremendously ❤️🎄🎶

We had the pleasure of welcoming the First Baptist Church choir into Freedom this afternoon to give us a preview of their upcoming Christmas musical! We had such a wonderful time listening to the beautiful songs they performed for us! We are so thankful they wanted to come share all their hard work with our residents, and we encourage you all to see their musical for yourself! Thank you again to Scott & the whole choir & sound team for taking time out of your week to come spend the afternoon with us😊🎶☃️

🧥❄️ Winter Coat Drive 2025 ❄️🧥
Freedom Senior Living is proud to partner with The University of Tennessee Medical Center – Home Care Services for this year’s Winter Coat Drive!

This holiday season, you can help keep residents of Sevier County warm by donating gently used coats of all sizes. Your contribution will go directly to someone in need right here in our home community.

*Donation Dates: December 8–31, 2025. You can drop off coats at the front office of Freedom Senior Living right into the donation box.
Let’s come together and make a meaningful impact!

If you have a coat to spare, we have a neighbor who could use it.

Mr. Clark is truly our Mr.Christmas spirit this year. He selflessly devoted his entire afternoon to adorning our Christmas tree in our main dining room with meticulous care. He carefully curated every ornament with the tree to ensure perfect harmony. It was a profoundly uplifting moment witnessing memories of yesteryears flood back with each placement as the lights sparkled in his eyes, followed by the warm, radiant smile that spread across his face as he stood back to admire his handiwork. In those moments, you are reminded why it's often said that the Christmas tree embodies a meaning that goes beyond its physical presence.

Big thank you to the Uplift Choir from Seymour First Baptist Church for spreading some holiday cheer with our residents yesterday! We had so much fun listening & singing along to some classic Christmas tunes! This was the perfect way to kick off our Christmas season here at Freedom 🎄🎁☃️❄️

Freedom’s Thanksgiving Family Night 2025
What a truly special evening!

Thank you to all the families who came out and spent Thanksgiving Family Night with us. Watching our residents light up with smiles, laughter, and the pure joy that comes from being surrounded by the people they love—it meant everything. Moments like these are what make our community feel like home.

A huge thank-you to our amazing staff for working so hard to bring this night to life. Your dedication ensures our residents and their families get to create memories they’ll cherish forever.
