January Birthday Bash 🥳🎂🎈🎁

Yesterday afternoon we celebrated all our residents who had birthdays in January!! Big thank you to Steve Canfield for coming out to liven up our party with some our favorite tunes, and Shareece from Gentiva for providing our yummy cupcakes! This is something we look forward to every month & we are so thankful for all those who make it possible ❤️

BINGO Bucks Auction Day!!💰💰💰

We had our monthly BINGO auction today where we bid on fun prizes using the “BINGO bucks” we’ve collected when we play BINGO! It’s always so much fun, and sometimes even a little tense when the bid wars break out 😅 Everyone walks away with prizes they love & a healthy dose of competition!

Yesterday was filled with wagging tails, gentle snuggles, and so many smiles .Our residents had the absolute best time loving on these precious puppies, and it was truly a joy to witness. The laughter, the soft pats, and the pure happiness in the room reminded us how powerful simple moments can be. There’s something so special about the comfort and unconditional love animals bring, and yesterday’s visit filled our hearts just as much as it filled theirs. Moments like these are what make our community feel like home.

This craft was actually planned way before we knew it might snow this weekend, but it made for such a fun coincidence! ! We hope these snowy nightlights will keep our residents cozy through all the winter fun!!

Yesterday we indulged our residents who have a sweet tooth & celebrated National Baked Goods Month!!🍰👨‍🍳🥧

We started with a tasting platter of cookies, cakes, cinnamon rolls, donuts, & more!! Then we ended our party by watching an episode of the hit TV show “Is It Cake?”! All the fun we had reminded us that sometimes dessert before dinner is okay 😋

Happy New Year from Freedom!!🍾🎊🎆

We’ve had 2 full days of partying to ring in 2026! We started with a “Noon-year” toast on New Year’s Eve & ended with a New Year’s Day party today🎉 We are so thankful to be part of the joy that fills our residents lives, and can’t wait for all the fun we will have this coming year❤️

Christmas smiles!

This Christmas season, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude.
To the families of our residents, our incredible staff plus vendors, and the support throughout Sevier County — thank you for blessing our residents with opportunities to experience the joy, warmth, and magic of the season in such meaningful ways.

Our residents experience so much magic daily because of the many caring hearts both inside our facility and throughout our surrounding community. From small moments to meaningful gestures, each act of kindness adds smiles, puts a twinkle in their eyes, and reminds them they are deeply loved and valued.

Being part of something that gives purpose, connection, and joy is truly humbling. At Freedom, family isn’t about what’s under the tree or the decorations— it’s about compassion, support, appreciation, admiration, and love.

We are deeply thankful for every person who makes up our Freedom family, both within our walls and beyond them. Christmas reminds us that the greatest gift is giving, and it is such a blessing to know our residents receive that gift every single day — not just on special occasions.

Thank you to the families who trust us with the care of their loved ones. That trust allows us the privilege of caring for and learning from so many beautiful lives. The greatest gift we receive is the smile of a resident who feels special, seen, and cherished — just as they should.
