We ARE NOT saying to stop praying in general
📖 The Bible clearly tells us in Thessalonians to pray and never cease praying!
So Pray yall! And keep praying! 👏🏼👏🏼
But if you’re going to pray for God to help you lose the weight, overcome the food addiction, get stronger, sleep better, all the things… You have to do your part 👏🏼
You have to stop buying the junk food and eating crappy fast food…
You have to stop staying up late scrolling on your phone or binge watching your favorite TV shows & go to bed early …
You have to get outside and start getting steps in…
You have to drink your water and make healthy food choices…
you have to start lifting weights…
You have to say NO to the things that take up your time - that aren’t benefiting your body, soul, spirit and mind… And start saying YES to the things that help you be physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually FIT!
There is no magic fairy dust that’s going to come down, rest upon you and fix all of the problems
Are some days gonna be hard? Absolutely!
But nothing is worse than staying miserable in an unhealthy, weak, sick, frail, over weight & undisciplined body.
You are underutilizing the talents , gifts, and calling God has for you because you are too scared or lazy to start.
I pray today you make that decision to START! To change for good. To become unstuck.
