Pasadena Villa Psychiatric Treatment Network Our residential locations are in Battle Creek, MI ,Locust Grove, VA and Sevierville, TN.

For over 25 years, Pasadena Villa has treated mental health and substance use disorders for adults 18 and older, along with a specialty program for autistic clients. As a psychiatric residential treatment center, we offer individualized, comprehensive treatment for a wide range of mental health disorders. Our residential and PHP treatment levels share the primary goal of equipping our clients with the tools they need for a successful transition back to everyday life. Our natural setting in the mountains of East Tennessee, which borders Smoky Mountain National Park, provides gorgeous views. Smoky Mountain Lodge is the perfect environment to escape the busyness of daily life and slow down enough to focus on healing. It also includes access to animal-assisted therapy at our sister location, The Stables.

Black History Month is a time to honor the leaders who shaped the future of mental health care. This month, Pasadena Villa is proud to recognize Francis Cecil Sumner, the first Black American to earn a PhD in psychology.

Sumner’s pioneering work paved the way for greater representation and equity in the mental health field. His legacy serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of inclusion, access, and culturally responsive care.

Join us alongside Pasadena Villa Outpatient Franklin for a restorative and energizing morning designed exclusively for licensed mental health clinicians. This wellness-centered event creates space to move, reset, and connect with fellow professionals in a supportive, welcoming environment.

The morning will feature a one-hour guided yoga session led by Brenda Keller, LPC, Chief Executive Officer and experienced yoga instructor. The practice will include gentle movement, breathwork, and mindfulness, with accessible modifications to support all experience levels.

Following the session, enjoy time to network with local clinicians over light bites and beverages. Bring business cards or materials to share as you build meaningful professional connections.

We’re proud to announce that Luda Wilner has been promoted from Lead Therapist to Director of Clinical Services at Pasadena Villa The Grove!

Since joining Pasadena Villa in 2021, Luda has grown through multiple clinical roles across Tennessee and Virginia, working in residential and PHP settings. Rooted in a deep love for residential care, she believes in walking alongside individuals through life’s hardest moments—a passion shaped during her master’s studies at the University of Tennessee and inspired by the Appalachian Mountains.

Luda is grateful for her team’s support and is honored to serve as a torchbearer for both clients and clinicians, continuing to bring light in the darkest places.

Pasadena Villa The Grove in Locust Grove, Virginia is proud to support local students pursuing careers in psychology and related fields.

Pictured is Kayla Ash, the 2025 recipient of the Pasadena Villa “The Grove” Scholarship. Kayla is currently attending Penn State University–Harrisburg, where she balances her studies with competing on the university’s soccer team. She earned an impressive 4.0 GPA during the Fall 2025 semester, and we’re confident she will continue to excel.

Also pictured are Kirstin Whitely, Facility CEO of Pasadena Villa The Grove, and Gary Greenhalgh, board member of the OCHS Alumni and Friends Foundation.

This scholarship will be awarded annually, creating a lasting impact for future Orange County High School graduates. We’re grateful for their generosity and continued commitment to student success.

Our Story

Pasadena Villa - Smoky Mountain Lodge is a residential psychiatric treatment center in Sevierville , Tennessee. Our serene environment in the scenic Smoky Mountains makes our location the ideal place to recover and get well. We currently offer an intensive residential treatment program, community-based residential treatment, day treatment and supported housing. We also have residential treatment at The Villa Orlando in Orlando, Florida and a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program at Pasadena Villa Outpatient Center-Raleigh in Cary, North Carolina. We are an out of network provider, however, we welcome most insurance plans as well as private pay. All inquiring patients will receive complimentary assessments before enrolling.
