We are less than one week away! We are so thankful that Color Me Mutt chose us and is helping spread our mission!

We are excited to announce one of our beneficiaries this year:
Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center, Inc. envisions a community where child abuse ends. We firmly believe that every child deserves to live free from abuse and trauma. Tragically, 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 20 boys are victims of sexual abuse before their 18th birthday. Safe Harbor is the place where Hope and Healing begin. We are dedicated to serving children and adolescents who are victims of abuse and trauma through intervention, treatment and prevention education. Together, we can restore these young lives.

Safe Harbor will be collecting donations to support children in need in our community! They are in need of essential hygiene items, including toothbrushes and toothpaste, deodorant (for both men and women), new washcloths, body wash or soap, shampoo and conditioner, hairbrushes, and 8oz bottles of water. Donations can be dropped off at the race or directly at the Safe Harbor location.

We were honored to speak at the East Tennessee Purchasing Association and Tennessee Association of Public Purchasing Conference yesterday! ✨

This year, they hosted their conference in Sevierville. We are grateful they chose Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center as their non-profit to spotlight. Their dedication to supporting children in the community is truly inspiring and a powerful reminder of how our work extends beyond the immediate scope of our roles.

Thank you to the ETPA and TAPP for the invitation and for championing such an important cause. Let's continue to learn, grow, and support our communities!

Every child who walks through Safe Harbor's doors has experienced trauma you can barely imagine. They aren't just looking for help—they are looking for a safe place to finally begin to heal.

We have launched the 200 Heroes Campaign to guarantee that Safe Harbor is always ready to serve. We need 200 new monthly donors committed to giving a minimum of $20 a month to sponsor services for 200 children next year.

$20 isn't a donation; it's a lifeline.

It funds the immediate crisis support a terrified family needs the moment they arrive.

It keeps our center a consistently safe, warm, and child-friendly space, every single day.

It provides a steady source of critical, trauma-focused counseling.

When you become a monthly donor, you become the reliable foundation a child can build their future on—a source of hope that never runs out.

Today, our staff at Safe Harbor stand with our friends at Safe Space of East Tennessee and all victims of domestic violence by wearing purple to honor Domestic Violence Awareness Month 💜

Purple is the color of courage, survival, and support for all those impacted by domestic violence. We are united in our mission to create a community where everyone can live a safe life free of violence.
