Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center, Inc. Safe Harbor serves children through age 17 who are victims of severe physical and sexual abuse. This group comes at no charge, and fun child care is provided!

Where Hope and Healing begin...Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center of the Smokies is dedicated to serving children who are victims of severe neglect, physical and sexual abuse through prevention, education and intervention. We conduct forensic interviews in a child-friendly, comfortable setting so the child can feel at home and relaxed while he or she shares their story. We also provide free therapy for the child so that he or she has a strong professional support system with caring, qualified people to help them heal through the trauma of abuse. Every child is valued, and we do all that we can to provide support and various services to make healing for the child attainable. Safe Harbor also shadows the child and non-offending caregiver through any legal proceedings, providing court support as may be required. Safe Harbor also offers a 10-week educational support group for the parent/non-offending caregiver at our satellite office in Cocke County.

Come hear about our 2026 initiatives, our Chaplaincy Program, and how your congregation can partner with us during Child Abuse Prevention Month to protect and heal children in our community.

We are honestly at a loss for words. 💙

Thanks to your incredible heart for the children of the 4th Judicial District, we have officially reached 80% of our $45,000 year-end goal!

Seeing this community rally around the mission of hope and healing is the greatest gift we could receive. We are so deeply grateful for the trust you place in us to care for our community’s most vulnerable.

But we aren't there yet. With just 12 days left in the year, we are in the final stretch to secure the remaining 20%. These final dollars aren't just numbers—they are the therapy sessions, the forensic interviews, and the advocacy time that a child will need in 2026.

A massive thank you to our friends at Richardson’s Cove Baptist Church for their incredible generosity. They dropped off holiday food boxes for our families, each one carefully packed with enough groceries to last for two full weeks!

For the families we serve, the holidays can sometimes bring added stress. These boxes provide more than just nutrition—they provide peace of mind, allowing our clients to focus on healing and spending quality time together. We are so lucky to have a community that wraps its arms around these children. 🕊️✨
