This past week we attended the People Together Program—an educational program for third grade classrooms in Medina County! 🌟

This five-day disability awareness program helps students understand what it means and how it feels to be a person with a disability.

We’re proud to share that during our visit, a student felt so empowered by the program, they chose to talk about their own disability with their classmates, and even brought fact-sheets with more information to pass out! 🤩

Just one of the many reasons why we do this. Together, we're creating an inclusive and accepting community. 💚

We’re proud to honor a couple of our incredible community partners: the Knights of Columbus #4168 Medina, Ohio and the Chippewa Lake Lions Club Foundation 💚

The Knights of Columbus host the annual Race for Glory, with this year’s race on August 29th, 2026. All proceeds from this 5k Fun Run/1 Mile Walk benefit The Society, Integrated Community Solutions, Medina County Special Olympics, and the Knights of Columbus Charities.

The Chippewa Lake Lions Club brings the community together each year for their Polar Plunge and Fun Walk/Run, with proceeds going towards The Society and other local organizations. Our most recent plunge was held this past February, and we’re so grateful for their continued support!
