Full circle this weekend at . Returning for my 25-year reunion reminded me where the foundation was built—and how much has evolved since then. Grateful for the training, the perspective, and the lifelong network. Always moving forward, but never forgetting where it started.

One of the most rewarding parts of what I do—outside of taking care of patients—is training other providers in injectables.

I work with non-dermatologists and non-plastic surgeons from across the country, teaching them how to safely and effectively inject Botox and fillers, and helping them bring these skills into their own practices.

It’s something I’ve become deeply passionate about. Not just the technique, but the confidence it gives beginning injectors and the impact it has on how they build and evolve their careers.

Grateful to travel, teach, and collaborate with so many talented clinicians along the way.

The anophthalmic socket is something many people have never heard of, yet for patients who have lost an eye, it is an important part of restoring comfort, appearance, and confidence. With proper surgical technique, prosthetic fitting, and long-term care, patients can achieve excellent cosmetic symmetry and maintain healthy surrounding tissues. Management is not just about aesthetics — it is about protecting the socket, preventing irritation or discharge, and supporting emotional well-being after eye loss. Thoughtful follow-up and collaboration with skilled ocularists make a tremendous difference in outcomes and quality of life.

Melanoma can appear on the eyelid, not just the skin elsewhere on the body. A changing dark spot, new pigmentation, or lesion that doesn’t heal near the eye should never be ignored. Early evaluation and treatment can be lifesaving—when in doubt, get it checked.
