Dr. Mandeep Singh is expanding his Heritage Valley Urology practice at Heritage Valley Beaver to include a presence at Heritage Valley Sewickley Hospital, effective April 1, 2026. Dr. Singh treats all aspects of urologic disease, with a focus on Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate gland); stone disease; oncology; and incontinence. He has extensive expertise in urologic-related surgeries.

Working with Dr. Singh since 2023 is Lauren Ryan, MS, PA-C, who earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Pittsburgh. Due to the upcoming retirement of Dr. David Corral, an independent Urologist in Sewickley, we are pleased to announce that his Physician Assistant Richard Burns will be joining Dr. Singh’s Urology practice.

The event will be held on Saturday, April 18, from 7 – 10 pm. Tickets and hotel reservations (discounted room rate if reserved before March 27) are available at https://www.heritagevalley.org/wine-event/ or by scanning the QR code. The Marriott is located at 777 Aten Road in Coraopolis.

March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, a time dedicated to increasing awareness about colorectal cancer and emphasizing the importance of early detection and screening. Colorectal cancer is highly treatable if caught in the early stages. According to the American Cancer Society, colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer diagnosed in both men and women in the United States (excluding skin cancers). Unfortunately, many people with colorectal cancer may experience no symptoms, which is why regular screenings are so important.

Heritage Valley Health System has updated its patient billing statements to make them both easier to understand and more convenient to use. In addition to your balance, dates of service, and summary of care provided, the new statements include a direct link to pay online, and a QR code that allows you to access the payment site right from your smartphone.

Your first statement will arrive in the mail. If you provided an email address at registration, future statements will be sent to you electronically. If you prefer to continue receiving paper statements, simply contact our office at 855-757-0424 and we will make note of your preference.

After careful consideration, the decision has been made to close the Heritage Valley Calcutta Medical Neighborhood, with its last day of operation being Friday, March 20, 2026. Please note that this will affect all services currently offered within the Medical Neighborhood, including ConvenientCare; Lab and Diagnostic Imaging; Mammography; Heart & Vascular Center; and Primary Care Calcutta, the practice of Dr. Marcella Purtell, Dr. Venus Wittenauer, and Nurse Practitioners Kelly Fischer and Katlynn White.

Patients of Primary Care Calcutta (724-773-3404) are encouraged to contact the office before closing for assistance in selecting a new Heritage Valley healthcare provider, transferring medical records, or arranging prescription transfers.

Patients of the Heart & Vascular Center at Calcutta (724-773-4502) are encouraged to select another Heritage Valley location at which to continue treatment. Please visit https://bit.ly/4chZych for a listing of Heart & Vascular Center locations.
