Please be advised that the 4th Medical Group will be CLOSED on the following dates in observance of the Christmas and New Years Holidays. We appreciate your understanding and encourage everyone to plan accordingly.

To reach the TRICARE Nurse Advice Line (NAL), call 1-800-TRICARE (1-800-874-2273) and select option 1; this line is available 24/7 for general health care questions and advice from a registered nurse. The NAL provides health care advice and helps determine if a doctor visit is necessary.

For pharmacy support during closure (and during periods of travel), please have provider send prescriptions to any TRICARE Network Pharmacy of your choice. Utilize the following link to locate a TRICARE Network Pharmacy: https://militaryrx.express-scripts.com/find-pharmacy

ATTENTION PHARMACY PATIENTS
Effective 17 November, Pharmacy hours will be 0800-1600.

Q-Anywhere (text-to-activate service) will be available for:

- Same-day pickup of urgent medications (e.g. antibiotics, surgery prescriptions)
- Next-duty day pickup of non-urgent medications

Text the phrase “get in line” to 833-338-1731 to activate new or renewed prescriptions.
Call 984-355-8583 to call in refills. Turnaround time on prescription refills remains the same at three duty days.

🚨 ATTENTION NON-ACTIVE-DUTY BENEFICIARIES 🚨

The 4th Medical Group (4 MDG) is partnering with local TRICARE® network providers this summer to ensure timely access to care during the busy PCS season.

Here’s what you need to know:

1. Temporary PCM Assignment
Certain beneficiaries will temporarily receive their care from TRICARE® network providers.

2. Scheduling
Call the 4 MDG Appointment Line at 919-722-1802 to book your appointment. You may be referred to a TRICARE® network provider if appointments are unavailable.

3. Referrals Are Required
You must have a referral from the 4 MDG to be seen by a TRICARE® network provider. Visits without a referral may not be covered.
(Does not apply to urgent care or emergency department visits.)

Back to School Physicals Are Here!

Appointments are available every Friday, 30 May through 12 Sep, call the appointment line at (919) 722-1802, option 1 to schedule school and sports physicals for kids in grades K-12! Your child must be enrolled to a PCM at the 4 MDG to participate.

No appointment needed if your child had a well visit in the last 12 months—just drop off completed forms at the reception desk and we’ll call you when it’s ready.

Don’t forget to bring your physical forms!
