We’re gearing up for one of Seymour’s best traditions — the 32nd Annual Seymour Christmas Parade! 🎅🎁
This year’s theme is 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 — get ready for big lights, bright colors, and show-stopping Christmas spirit! 🌟🎭
Join us tomorrow, December 13th at 3:00 PM, as we celebrate with floats, music, and our 2025 Grand Marshal… 𝗕𝗿𝘆𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸! 🎉
🚧 Important Reminders
🕒 Chapman Hwy will close at 3:00 PM — please plan ahead.
🍬 Candy will ONLY be thrown from the RIGHT side of the route.
👨‍👩‍👧 Parents — please keep children out of the road to ensure everyone’s safety. ❤️
📍 Parade starts at Valley Grove Baptist Church and ends at Kroger.
Bundle up, bring the family, and get ready for one of the most magical days of the year.

Please allow extra time to decorate your float, as we already have over 100 preregistered participants so far.

You may be grieving a loss and Christmas is fast approaching. We are bombarded by images of what the “holiday spirit” should look like….Happy families together sharing the joy of the season… But for some, that is not reality at all. Friends or families are broken hearted, grieving losses and wonder how they will get through Christmas. The world seems to go on with life but sometimes the weight of all of this can seem unbearable. Loss and grief are real and if you are grieving, know you are not alone.
My guests offer us support and help during this season. Joy Gaertner, a Relationship, Loss and Certified Grief Recovery Specialist and founder of "Walking With Joy” and a Consultant at Mynatt Funeral Home, Tim Wheeler a Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer at Mynatt Funeral Home who is so active in our community and Chelsi D. Moran is also a certified Grief Recovery Specialist & Funeral Assistant at Mynatt Funeral Home in Knoxville. We will also be sharing some of the great things they do to support in our community! It’s pretty amazing! We are also talking about how we can listen to those who are hurting and not try to come up with answers - just be there for them.
