These are the numbers, the data, the FACTS. Our academics ARE improving.
Here is a breakdown for each school as well as our District as a whole.
Our board has implemented a plan for academic success not only working on academics but students social and emotional well being. teachers are working hard to make sure our students have the tools they need for a successful future. We must continue to work as a team and make sure the students are the #1 priority.
As was stated in January 2020 in a report by the Shafter Press. There is a lot more work to do in order to get our students where they need to be.
Especially now with the challenges we are facing we need to keep our kids on the right track..
I am up for that challenge. I know our wonderful administrative teams and Amazing teachers are up for the challenge.
Thank you,
Deanna Rodriguez Root
