Congratulations to our latest Starfish Award winner, Esther, a Nursing Assistant!

Esther was nominated by a family member for going above and beyond in every way. She sang with the patient, read the Bible to her, talked with her, and prayed with her - offering not just care, but connection.

The family finds great comfort and joy in knowing their loved one was surrounded by such kindness and grace in her final days. Esther's calm presence and heartfelt devotion meant the world to them, and they will always remember the love she shows. She truly makes a meaningful difference - one person at a time.

Congratulations to our latest DAISY Award winner, Heather, an Emergency Department RN!

Heather observed a patient exhibiting signs of airway obstruction and promptly performed the Heimlich maneuver. Her swift and precise intervention dislodged the obstructing food, enabling the patient to breathe again.

Her actions reflected a clear understanding of emergency protocols and a commitment to patient safety, ultimately saving the patient's life.

Help us STUFF THE BUS! A Minnesota Valley Transit Authority trolley will be at St. Francis March 27th from 10am-3pm by the employee entrance on the NE side of campus. Bring a non-perishable food donation and fill the bus!

All food will be donated to CAP Agency - Community Action Partnership of Scott Carver & Dakota Counties.
