💚 Today, we celebrated 20 years of Hawthorn House. What began as CMSAF James C. Binnicker’s vision to create a supportive assisted living community for military widows, veterans, and their families has grown into a place filled with connection, dignity, and daily joy.

Thank you to our residents and families who joined us, to Col. Hamilton and fellow service members, to Commissioner Carol Ketchel, Ocean City-Wright Fire Control District, Spike Lord with Lord & Son Construction, and community partners who came out in support.

And to our staff who brought today’s ceremony to life — your dedication continues to shape the heart of this home.

Here’s to continuing a mission rooted in care and community as we look toward the years ahead. 💚
