Today we hosted our local Eastland High School FFA, and some of their parents, for a grain bin safety training. We used our simulator wagon to demonstrate just how quickly you can become trapped in the grain, and just how impossible it is to get yourself out. The group was then shown how The Great Wall of Rescue tubes are used to free the victim.

Did you know that our rescue tubes were initially produced locally at our very own Eastland Fabrication in Lanark, IL?
Steve Coulthard and his Dad, Roger Coulthard, came up with this life saving idea after two teen's lives were tragically lost in a grain bin entrapment in Mt. Carroll, IL back in 2010. They put their brains together and began the process of creating The Great Wall of Rescue.
