Join us on April 29 for the Caring for the Caregiver webinar, part of a statewide series presented by the Executive Office of Aging & Independence in partnership with the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative. This series connects family caregivers with valuable resources, support, and practical guidance.

The APDA Massachusetts Chapter is honored to be part of this program, featuring Cathi Thomas, RN, MS (APDA Information & Referral Center at Boston University Medical Campus), who will share insights on building a strong Parkinson’s care team, accessing community supports, and planning ahead.

Dr. Steve Han, Dr. Pratik R., and Dr. Kara Smith of Medical Center (BMC) will be joining the Virtual APDA DBS Support Group on Saturday, April 11th to provide updates and answer questions about Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS). 🕙 The session will begin at 10 AM.

We were honored to support Jordan Rich as he was named the New England Revolution's Hero of the Match for his dedication to raising awareness and funds to fight Parkinson’s disease.

Jordan, last year’s top fundraiser for the Massachusetts Optimism Walk for Parkinson's, is already gearing up to host the APDA 2026 Massachusetts Optimism Walk for Parkinson's on May 17 - and his team, the Jordan's Trailblazers, is off to a strong start! 👣

Huge thanks to the New England Revolution for their generosity and to everyone who came out to support. And yes - the Revs got the win too! 🙌

APDA applauds the 9 members of Congress who signed a letter to HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and NIH Director Dr. Jay Bhattacharya urging them to seat the National Parkinson’s Plan (NPP) Advisory Council.

If your member of Congress did not sign the bipartisan letter, you can support these leaders by reaching out to your member to urge them to press HHS to immediately seat the Advisory Council.
