Job Title: Optician Supervisor: Optical Manager Supervisory Yuba city area
Starting 30$ an hour...

Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience Required: Experience in a customer service environment preferred, ABO Certification preferred, but not required.

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Basic office environment skills (phone calls, customer service, etc.), Basic computer operating systems, good written & verbal communication skills, ability to work as part of a team, willingness to learn, ability to work in fast- paced environment, ability to multi-task .

Expected Responsibilities:
1. Helping patients with glasses orders, fitting, dispensing, repairs, adjustments, etc.,
2. Frame-styling with patients,
3. Maintain inventory of frames, parts, etc.,
4. Understanding current fashion and lenses trends,
5. General office duties (opening & closing, etc.),
6. Assist other departments in basic housekeeping responsibilities,
7. Promotion of Advanced Eye Care services and products,
8. Cooperation with other Shasta Lake Eyecare departments,
9. Maintaining positive relationships with patients, managers, and doctors,
10. Maintain office equipment and supplies in a reasonable manner,
11. Knowledge of basic insurance policies,
12. Understanding technical language of lens, frames, etc.,
13. Basic phone skills—answering multi-line calls,

We are excited to let you know that Dan's Optical is partnering with ION - Impact On Networking and The Salvation Army Redding Corps for the 4th Annual "Stuff The Bus" Toy Drive.

OUR BARREL IS GOING TO BE PICKED UP THIS FRIDAY MORNING. IF YOU HAVE NOT HAD A CHANCE TO DROP OFF A TOY PLEASE DO SO BY THURSDAY SO WE CAN HELP ALL THESE KIDS AND FAMILIES IN NEED THIS HOLIDAY SEASON!!!
