Ever notice that the moment you decide to get healthier… the naysayers show up?

Sometimes it’s direct:
“Why would you pay for a coach?”
“You won’t stick with it.”
“That stuff never works.”

Sometimes it’s subtle:
A joke about eating better.
A comment about time.
An eye roll when you mention working out.

Here’s the thing most people miss:

👉 People often can’t see for others what they can’t see for themselves.

A simple way to know if you’re using the right weight in your workouts?

Leave 2 in the tank.

At the end of a set, ask yourself:

“Could I have done two more reps with good technique?”

If the answer is yes, it’s probably time to go a little heavier next time.
If the answer is no — or your form was falling apart — stay where you are for now.

Most of the strength work we do falls into a 6–10 rep range.
If you hit all 10 reps and still feel like you had those extra two reps available, that’s progress.
If you can’t get to 6 with good form, the weight is too heavy.

The goal isn’t to max out every set.
The goal is steady, consistent improvement — without beating up your joints or stalling out.

Leaving 2 in the tank keeps you moving forward, training smarter, and building real strength over time.

At Move Better, you are never just a face in the crowd. Unlike most “gyms” every member workout is delivered by an expert coach who knows YOU and YOUR needs. You’ll train with people just like you. People who want to look, feel and Move Better to live their best life.

We offer small group fitness training and Private One on One fitness training in a clean, comfortable atmosphere and have the expertise to deal with most physical limitations (Becuase lets face it. We all have “stuff”!)

We also offer online training for fitness as well as Nutrition and Wellness Coaching
