Hi STRIVE families, team and community 💛

We are excited to celebrate Autism Acceptance Week starting this Monday at STRIVE!

We had every intention of sharing this sooner, and appreciate your flexibility as we kick things off quickly. We still wanted to make sure you had the opportunity to join in the fun this week!

Each day will focus on celebrating individuality, inclusion, and the strengths of our learners. Feel free to have your child participate as much or as little as is comfortable for them.

At STRIVE, we believe in acceptance, understanding, and empowering every learner to reach their highest potential. We’re excited to celebrate that together this week.

Today is World Behavior Analysis Day 💛 The day was created to honor our “founding” Father, B.F. Skinner’s birthday! 🎉

We want to take a moment to recognize the BCBAs who lead the clinical direction at STRIVE.

This role is not just a title. It is a responsibility. Our BCBAs are the ones analyzing behavior, identifying the “why,” designing individualized treatment plans, and ensuring that every decision made is ethical, evidence-based, and in the best interest of the learner. They are leading teams, supporting staff, and continuously adapting to help each learner make meaningful progress.

Applied Behavior Analysis, or ABA, is the science of understanding behavior and how it is influenced by the environment. It uses evidence-based strategies to teach skills, reduce barriers, and create lasting, meaningful change in everyday life.

At STRIVE, this work is intentional, collaborative, and rooted in high standards of care. The impact reaches far beyond our walls and into the lives of the learners and families we serve every day.

We are incredibly proud of this team and the level of integrity, leadership, and dedication they bring to STRIVE.

Every learner’s journey looks different, and this team is there for every step of the climb.

Gabby joins our leadership team as our newest Special Education Teacher, supporting our growing school placement services and school-based ABA consultation.

As STRIVE continues to grow and evolve, Gabby brings the heart, experience, and mindset that align so well with this role and the direction of our school placement and school-based services.

A few words from Gabby:

“My name is Gabby Behnke and I’m honored to share that I’m starting a new role as a special education teacher with Strive! I’m coming from Clintonville High School, where I happened to be born and raised. My heart is in small towns where community contribution lead and foster growth. With 5 years of experience, I’m grateful to be stepping into a space where student needs truly come first and progress toward meaningful goals is valued. Strive feels like the perfect fit for my student-led approach and my passion for helping students build confidence in themselves and their abilities. I can’t wait for this next chapter!”
