SHUR Rescue is a privately owned cat and kitten rescue, shelter and adoption facility dedicated to the survival and well-being of cats. Owner Steve Shur absolutely loves animals and cats are his true love. When stray cats started showing up at his farm in rural Cecil, the felines quickly became like family.

Shur Rescue is a no kill and a no cage not-for-profit organization. Shur rescue provides individualized care for every cat that comes through our shelter doors.
