We want you to shave the areas you want treated, 4-24 hours before your appointment! This allows your skin to settle from a fresh shave yet allow the laser to target the follicle directly at the surface of the skin! 🪒

Q❓: What happens if I shave right before the appointment?
A❗️: No worries! Although you might feel more discomfort and experience a bit more irritation than normal 🙂‍↔️

Q❓: What happens if I don’t shave before my appointment at all? Wellllllllllll 🤨 then we might have to have you reschedule so that you can go home and prepare for the appointment!
A❗️: When you have excess hair above the surface of the skin, the laser burns and singes the hair to the skin, increasing that heat on the surface and causing a burn; ALSO, the laser energy is completely wasted on top of the skin and won’t pe*****te down below where we need to target the root of the follicle!
