Our Doctors:
Drs. Kinsey & Dustin Honeyman met in Memphis, Tennessee while attending the Southern College of Optometry together. Dr. Kinsey is originally from Rockford, Illinois (just south of Wisconsin) and attended the University of Illinois. Dr. Dustin grew up in Lawrence, KS and attended the University of Kansas. After graduation, they decided to call the Kansas City suburbs home. Their hobbies include spending time with their kids, traveling, scuba diving, hiking and taking optometry students on volunteer mission trips around the world.
“We decided to start Highpoint Family Vision for many reasons. We want to make an impact in a local and growing area where there is strong need for vision care. Our passion is working with patients of all ages and developing lasting relationships. We aim to provide exceptional quality of care as opposed to a quantity of care. ‘Family’ is in our practice name because that is what we strive for - we want every patient to feel like family when they are in our office.”
