Our residents are ready for the new year! We played “Pass the Confetti”; They shared things they were thankful for in 2025 and they trashed the past by thinking of something negative they don’t want to take into 2026, they put it into a napkin, rolled it up then tossed it into a make believe suitcase. 🧳 It was so awesome to watch them cheer and get excited as their negative baggage was tossed into the trash can never to be seen again! And now all that’s left is the countdown to 2026!

Our Halo Choir performed at our Family Christmas Caroling Pie Social and did an amazing job setting the tone for a day to remember and treasure. What fun that day was seeing families gathered together celebrating the true reason for the season, Jesus! And the most joyous time of the year, Christmas!

Mildred Peters celebrated her 105th birthday on Saturday.

Today at Sharon Lane we celebrated 105 years of a beautiful life. Ms Mildred’s family and staff showed her with gifts, love and her favorite puppies. Fox4 News came to capture the moment. You can watch the report tonight at 10pm and tomorrow throughout the day’s news casts. Happy Birthday Ms Millie, you bring such grace to the halls of Sharon Lane and we love you.

Our Sharon Lane Halo Choir has been working hard, talking through sections of their song to get it just right, preparing for their performance at our Family Christmas Pie and Caroling Social this coming Saturday, Dec 13th. The sweetest choir ever and we are so proud of them for keeping a song in their hearts and a melody of joy on their lips. They are going to do great!!!

Our residents and families love having a place to have personal family Christmas celebrations. Families book the room for two hours to have their own family gathering when their loved one has difficulty leaving the building. It’s great for taking family photos and making sweet memories in this room we call our Winder Wonderland.
