Composting! We will be hosting in depth classes on composting during the month of May at The Apothecary in Shawnee Mall. Classes for this will be FREE to attend.

Sneak peak into some of our books for the research library that will be FREE to the public to come read or take notes.

From gardening hacks, herbal medicine, war and military books, plant identification and terrarium books, to cookbooks, craft books like wreath making, basket weaving, to so much more…..

Guests will have plenty of vintage seating area to grab a book and catch up on some reading or note taking as the books will not be permitted to leave the store.

If you get thirsty or hungry- no problem, we will have yummy homemade treats and coffee available for purchase.

Sneak peak into the kids primitive corner. One of our carpenters from the Wetumka tribe is building us a kids corner using some of the details below!

The kids will be able to pick up a basket and check the coop for some wooden eggs, look for forest creatures, color or read, and just enjoy some learning fun!

She has excellent sourdough bread, homemade pop tarts, dip mixes, bread bowls, seasonings, scents, and yummy treats.

It's official! We will pre-open to the public on April 30th, 2026. However, our grand opening party is on May 2nd, 2026. We would like to invite the public to attend as the day will feature a LIVE meet-and-greet for our farm-to-table farmers, vendors, and a tour of the store. Share with your loved ones!

We have exciting news! Looking for local farmers.

We have a vision for a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) initiative, one that is to collaborate with local farmers and growers who share a commitment to farm-to-table principles and sustainable cultivation practices.

We are seeking partners who prioritize chemical-free, organically grown seasonal vegetables, fruits, herbs, microgreens, and other farm products.

Each week, a curated availability list will be published outlining the produce offered for the following week.

Customers will have the opportunity to build their own grocery boxes by selecting individual items, or they may choose from thoughtfully pre-designed combinations assembled by The Apothecary.

Orders will close by a specified deadline to allow for accurate sourcing from participating farmers. Once quantities are confirmed, a coordinated delivery or pickup will be arranged at The Apothecary. From there, orders will be assembled and distributed to customers during a scheduled pickup timeframe.

The apothecary opens to the public in the last week of April! Our exact location and opening day will soon be released to the public.
