“What does painting have to do with skincare?”

Artists see formulation differently.

People think skincare starts in a lab.

Sometimes it starts with understanding balance, texture, and color.

As an artist, mixing paint teaches you something most people never think about — the smallest adjustment can completely change the final result.

Formulating skincare works the same way.

A slight shift in ingredients, ratios, or texture can transform how a product performs on the skin.

Art taught me patience with that process.

And honestly… I think it made me a better formulator.

Now I’m curious —

It’s been almost 2 years since we last released our soap bars.
If you’ve been around for a while, you already know — when we made soap, we made it at a luxury level. Every release sold out quickly, and we even hosted trainings where we simplified formulas for teaching purposes.
But what I’m considering now is different.
This wouldn’t be a basic return.
This would be a fully refined, entirely luxury-focused collection.
No filler.
No shortcuts.
No “simple for simplicity’s sake.”
We’re talking premium oils, mineral-rich blends, real botanicals, plant-based color from tea, algae, herbs… ingredients that truly bring something elevated to the table in the soap world.
The kind of bar you leave on your counter because it’s too rice in texture and too beautiful to hide.
Before I start formulating again, I want to hear from you.

We’ve been busy over here. 🤍
Fresh jars of our whipped tallow butter are filled and setting — with more waiting in the background.
Our signature blend (bergamot, frankincense, and chamomile) isn’t going anywhere. That grounding, skin-loving classic will always be part of Pier T.
But I’m thinking about a small Spring/Summer add-on collection…
Would you want:
• A true lavender — soft and simple?
