🎸✨ Yesterday was a rockin’ good time at Sheboygan Senior Community! Residents were treated to an unforgettable Elvis tribute show, and the King did not disappoint. Thanks to The Strictly Elvis Show! Smiles, singing, and a whole lot of joy filled the room — it was truly great to see everyone having such a great time! 🕺

Our first Drive-In Movie Night last month was such a blast! Willow residents kicked back with popcorn, treats, and a great movie under the stars 🌙🍿 — plus our “concession stand crew” even dressed up to make it extra fun!

Every tree, bench, and bloom in our Garden of Life tells a story — one of love, remembrance, and the lasting connections formed within Sheboygan Senior Community.

Pictured here is the Halverson Family, paying homage to their late beloved husband and father, Ron Halverson, through a living tribute — a tree planted in SSC’s growing orchard. Also pictured is SSC CEO Paul Treffert, joining the family in celebrating Ron’s memory and the impact he had on our community.

The Garden of Life provides a beautiful way for families to honor those who have called SSC home, creating a legacy that continues to grow and inspire.

We’re thrilled to share that our fall gallery exhibition, The Thread Between Us, opened to a wonderful crowd last week! It was such a joy to see residents, families, staff, and community members come together to celebrate the power of connection through art.

A heartfelt thank you to the incredible artists who made this exhibition possible. Your creativity and stories truly wove together a tapestry of community and inspiration.

If you missed the opening, there’s still plenty of time to experience it! The Thread Between Us will remain on view through March 2026. Stop by, explore the artwork, and even add your own thread to our community loom.

🎃👻 Residents had a wicked good time at our Halloween-themed food demonstration with Anne at Sheboygan Senior Community! This spooky session featured Dirt Cake — but don’t worry, no worms this time! Instead, residents got creative decorating their cakes with bats, pumpkins, skulls, and more festive flair.

Anne not only showed us how to whip up this delicious treat, but also shared a fun fact: Dirt Cake is actually a Midwestern original! Who knew?

From decorating to devouring, our residents had a blast celebrating the season with sweet treats and even sweeter company. 🍰🦇

A big thank you to St. John's UCC Schwarzwald for visiting us yesterday! 🎶 Our residents loved the sing-along with the Sunday School children and the beautiful handbell choirs. We are also so grateful for the thoughtful Blessing Bag gifts for our caregivers – your kindness made the day extra special! 💛
