🎶✨ What a toe-tapping, memory-making evening at Sheboygan Senior Community! ✨🎶
Tonight, Too Cool had our residents and their families dancing down memory lane with classic hits from the 50s and 60s. From smiles to sing-alongs, the room was filled with great music, laughter, and even better company. 💃🕺
Thank you to everyone who joined us to make this such a special night—we loved sharing the joy of live music together! ❤️🎸

Last night, we were thrilled to welcome a wonderful group of therapy dogs to Sheboygan Senior Community 🐶❤️
These pups came in all sizes — from very little ones to a very big boy named Norman, a lovable Newfoundland — and no matter their size, they brought big smiles and joy to our residents’ faces. The love, laughter, and tail wags filled the room!
Each dog and their owner was truly amazing, and we are so grateful they chose to donate their time and share their hearts in support of our residents and our mission. Moments like these make such a meaningful difference.

🌞 This afternoon, Chris Okkerse brought the sunshine to Sheboygan Senior Community! 🎶
With his sunny vocals and rockin’ oldies, Chris had residents, their families, and our staff enjoying a toe‑tapping good time. Smiles, sing‑alongs, and great music filled the room—we couldn’t ask for a better way to spend the afternoon! 💛🕺🎸

Sheboygan Senior Community is looking for landscape artwork featuring Sheboygan County, from the shores of Lake Michigan to the scenic trails of the Kettle Moraine State Forest, to showcase throughout our building.

Your art will help create a warm, inspiring environment for our residents, staff, and visitors while celebrating the natural beauty of our local community.

The are collected will be on loan from May-November. Art displayed can be purchased through the Artist.

At our Food Demo with Anne, we explored both sides of the craving spectrum:

🍫 A rich chocolate chip cheesecake dip

A little something for every mood, and plenty of smiles to go around. Moments like these are the best—good food, shared experiences, and a chance to enjoy the simple things together 💛

A HUGE thank you to the Pi Kappa Gamma sorority from Lakeland University - WI for joining us last Saturday to host Bingo!

It was a fun afternoon with lots of laughs and great energy. We appreciate you spending time with our residents and helping make it a great event.

Upcoming Gallery Exhibition at SSC: Finding Beauty in the Everyday
We’re inviting artists to share work for our upcoming gallery exhibition, Finding Beauty in the Everyday. This exhibition celebrates beauty living in the ordinary. The small, overlooked moments that make up daily life — the chipped mug you reach for every morning, sunlight across the kitchen table, the beauty and comfort these moments provoke.
Artwork that captures the meaning, beauty, and stories found in everyday life—whether through ordinary objects, daily routines, or creatively reused materials—highlighting the poetry, humor, and memories within the familiar. If you have a piece or story that you believe would make an addition to our themed exhibition please do not hesitate to submit your work.
