🌿 Recycling Meets Creativity at Sheboygan Senior Community! 🌼
Today our residents and volunteers rolled up their sleeves for a fun and meaningful recycling project — turning old menus into beautiful handmade paper!
First, the menus were shredded by hand, then blended with water to create paper pulp. From there, the pulp was placed into tubs where residents added their own special touches: flower seeds, dried petals, glitter, and more. Using screens, they collected the mixture and pressed it into sheets of new paper.
The handmade paper is now drying and will be one of the featured works of art at our next gallery opening on May 1st. 🌸✨
📅 Please save the date!
We can’t wait to showcase this unique project and celebrate the creativity of our community.
