Throwback Thursday!
The summer of 2017 we had a youth group from Oostburg First Pres come for a full weekend of projects, carwash fundraiser & bake sale, testimony night & church on Sunday! It was a jam packed, amazing weekend with some great individuals!

Weeks ago, an individual desperate for help called us. The fear due to many things happening was overwhelming. The staff member taking the call listened, supported & prayed with the caller. She also challenged the caller to open the Bible & find verses on fear, writing them on post it notes & putting them everywhere. Maybe even commit one to memory. The individual said they would possibly try that. Just today, that very individual stopped by briefly to check in. As they turned to say goodbye, this person stopped & said, "I did it. I memorized a verse. I chose Isaiah 41:10," and began to recite it with tears percolating in their eyes. The staff member was moved to tears as well & so grateful that the scripture brought comfort & truth to the individual.

We had so much fun seeing everyone that stopped by today! Former & current clients, donors, volunteers & family members... it just warmed our hearts to celebrate with you all!
