Injury Update with Dr. Marsh 🏀🦴

Cavs guard Max Strus is working his way back from a Jones fracture (a fifth metatarsal fracture) he suffered in August. After undergoing a procedure, his projected 3–4 month return-to-play timeline puts him on track for a potential December comeback — as long as healing continues smoothly.

Dr. Marsh explains that Jones fractures are slow to heal due to limited blood flow in that area of the foot, which is why they often require surgical fixation. The good news? Once past the early healing phase, the risk of refracture drops significantly.

Wishing Max a strong and healthy return to the court! 💪🏽🏀
