✨ Transformation Tuesday! ✨

Anna came to see us with:
• Class II bite
• Crowding in the upper and lower arches
• Deep bite (too much vertical overlap)

From the beginning, our goals were to correct the deep bite, resolve crowding, and create a harmonious smile arc with proper incisor display for a balanced, esthetic result.

Utilizing Damon Ultima braces, we widened her upper and lower arches to create space, improve symmetry, and enhance her overall smile. And as always, hard tissue recontouring of the teeth allowed us to create ideal proportions and esthetics — completing her transformation with a beautifully natural result.

The transformation included:
• Correction of the deep bite
• Alignment of upper and lower arches
• Establishment of a balanced Class I occlusion
• Ideal incisor display for a confident, radiant smile

Treatment was completed in 22 months — leaving Anna with a healthy bite and a smile that radiates confidence and balance.

✨ Transformation Tuesday! ✨

Bryce came to see us with:
• Lateral right open bite
• Class II occlusion
• Hyper-eruption of anterior teeth with excessive overbite (too much vertical overlap)

From the beginning, our goals were to correct the lateral open bite, resolve crowding, create a consonant smile arc, and achieve ideal incisor display for a harmonious result.

We digitally planned Damon Ultima braces using DIBS AI software by merging a CBCT (3D X-ray) and iTero digital scans (3D impressions). This allowed us to deliver unmatched precision in bracket placement and treatment efficiency. With excellent oral hygiene and outstanding compliance with elastic wear, Bryce made steady progress throughout treatment. Hard tissue recontouring was performed to refine tooth proportions and enhance esthetics.

The transformation included:
• Correction of the deep bite
• Establishment of a stable Class I occlusion
• Creation of a consonant smile arc
• Ideal incisor display for a natural smile

Treatment was completed in 22 months — and the end result is a healthy, functional bite and a confident smile that Bryce can enjoy for years to come!

Miranda’s treatment is a great example of how Invisalign can deliver both functional and aesthetic results. She came to us with:
• Crowding
• Edge-to-edge bite (Class III)
• Shallow overbite

With the right plan and her dedication, we were able to create a beautiful transformation.

Her customized Invisalign plan included lower IPR and Class III elastics, which allowed us to correct her bite and bring her smile into harmony. We also completed hard tissue reshaping of the teeth to reduce dark triangles and improve overall tooth proportions.

3 Generations of Dental Excellence

Dr. Fredal was raised in Shelby Township, Michigan and graduated from Eisenhower High School. He attended the University of Michigan where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1982. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1986.

Shortly thereafter, Dr. Fredal returned to his hometown of Utica to practice general dentistry with his father and uncle. The practice was founded by his father and established in 1953.

Dr. Fredal partakes in continuing education classes annually to remain up to date with the latest advances in dentistry. His main areas of interest include laser dentistry and CBCT guided placement of implants.

Thomas M. Fredal DDS is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and Michigan Dental Society.
