ASP’s 2nd annual sports gear drive is in full swing, but this year we’ve got new partners! With the help of our friends at the Detroit Pistons and Metro Lawn, we now have a beautiful new collection box on site! Please bring new or gently used sports equipment between now and December 20th to benefit Leveling the Playing Field of Southeast Michigan. LPF SEMI distributes free sports equipment to kids from under-resourced communities across the state, ensuring they can access the mental and physical benefits of youth sports. Thanks to Caiti and Andrew at for delivering our new friend, for sponsoring it, and our family at for joining us in our efforts and giving BigBlue a place to live right out in front . You all are !

One year ago! Time flies when we’re having fun, right?! We’ve pivoted with some of our partnerships and services and become a trusted home for hundreds of athletes, teams and clients in that year. f you are looking for a women’s self defense course, this is the one. (Our owner was a member of the training team before she retired, so we might be partial). Sign up now because classes fill really quickly.

We had SO much interest in our March R.A.D. (R**e Aggression Defense) class that we decided to hold another class THIS MAY!!

The R.A.D. Women's self defense class is a 12 hour course broken into 3 hours of instruction over 4 days. Instruction consists of classroom literature, physical demonstration, and repetitive practice.

This class is FREE for women only, ages 12 and up. You must be a Shelby Township resident to attend the class. Spots are filling up quickly!

Class dates are as follows:
May 12th, 6-9 PM
May 13th, 6-9 PM
May 19th, 6-9 PM
May 20th, 6-9 PM
***Attendance of all 4 days is mandatory***
