Ms. Lola Mae Lockett Gentry departed this world on Friday, December 12, 2025 at Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby, North Carolina leaving behind an immeasurable legacy of love and light. She was born on May 18, 1934 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Carlise and Beatrice Lockett.

Funeral services will now be held on Friday, December 19, 2025 at Shiloh Baptist Church at 1:00 PM. Burial will take place at Cleveland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 18th from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at S. T. Enloe Memorial Chapel and additionally at 1213 White Ave. on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM each day. Ms. Gentry may also be viewed at Shiloh Baptist Church on Friday from 12:00 Noon until 12:45 PM.

Ms. Janice Marie Morgan, 72, of Shelby, NC passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Via Health Partners (formerly Wendover Hospice House) in Shelby. She is the daughter of the late Mac Daniel and Elizabeth Livsey Morgan. She was born on February 16, 1953 in Cleveland County, NC.

The family will be meeting at 706 Levi St. Shelby.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Shoal Creek Baptist Church. The reception of family and friends is from 11:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Ms. Alean McCombs, 96, made a peaceful early morning departure into eternal rest with the Lord on December 2, 2025 at Hospice Wendover of Cleveland County. She was born on July 6, 1929, to the late Charlie and Gertha Taylor McCombs.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 12, 2024, at Bethlehem Temple Church, Grover, NC at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Sunset Cemetery in Shelby, NC. The reception of family and friends will be from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the church. All other times the family will be meeting at 1202 Webb Drive, Shelby, NC.

Mr. Tylon L. Wilson, 53, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Grady Memorial Hospital, in Atlanta, GA. He was born on September 27, 1972 in Cleveland County, NC to Anita Wilson and the late Thomas Osborne.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at Shiloh Baptist Church, Shelby, NC at 12:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Sunset Cemetery in Shelby. The reception of family and friends will be held from 11:30 a.m. until 12:00 pm. at the church. All other times the family will be meeting at the home of his brother Donnie Davenport.
