We have many families who rely on our informed milk sharing program. However, we are completely out and desperately in need of more!

If you have even a few extra oz of breastmilk to share, or a whole freezer full, please reach out. We can arrange pickup if you can’t drop it off.

Allow me to introduce myself! My name is Jessi Bonacci and I am pictured here with my 2 beautiful breastfed babies 🫶🏼 I am a Registered Nurse since 2014 and a board-certified lactation consultant since 2022. As a mother-baby nurse, I fell in love with helping mommies breastfeed and meet their unique feeding goals. I became enthusiastic about finding out what exactly worked best for them- whether it was exclusive breastfeeding, combo feeding, or pumping. I have a passion for home birth families (both my girls were born at home) but I also have extensive experience in the hospital-setting. I am ALWAYS learning and I have completed additional training in tethered oral tissues, fl**ge fitting, and holistic mastitis management. Many people would call me “crunchy” but I don’t judge, promise! I also love to homeschool, cook, garden, forage, craft, hike 🌄 go to craft fairs and see music 🎵 with my kids and amazing husband and adventure partner 🩵

I currently work private practice and see breastfeeding families in their own homes in and near Cleveland County, NC. I also offer virtual prenatal consultations and free Basics of Breastfeeding classes in Shelby. I am ALWAYS available to answer questions (I frequently get calls about taking medications while breastfeeding) so don’t be a stranger and call or text if you’re having an issue!

The only study ever done on the effects of fl**ge sizes on mother’s comfort and milk output was completed this year, and the results are WILD!🙀The fl**ges that come with pumps are way too big and are not evidence-based. While the average ni**le size is 16mm, many moms I see are smaller!

While some moms can pump with incorrect fl**ge sizes and have no problem, most people will benefit from correct sizing.
