A very special thank you to Mr. Chris Guffey for coming to Shelby Manor and sharing his incredible piano talent with our residents. 🎹

Music has such a special way of bringing joy, memories, and comfort, and Mr. Guffey truly blessed our community with his beautiful playing. Our residents absolutely love when he visits — many were already asking when he’ll be back before he even left!

We are so grateful for the time and talent he shares with us. Thank you, Mr. Guffey, for making our day so special! 💙

Yesterday was International Women’s Day, and today at Shelby Manor we took time to celebrate the incredible women who make our community so special. 💐

These wonderful ladies are more than just residents—they are mothers, daughters, sisters, grandmothers, and friends. They are women who have lived through decades of history, raised families, built homes, and left lasting impressions on everyone fortunate enough to know them. While some of them are not pictured, for different reasons whether they were able to make it to the event, sick, off the property, etc., they aren’t any less important! We are still so appreciative of these ladies and their sacrifices and gratitude to those around them! 💕

Today was about honoring their strength, their grace, their wisdom, and the countless stories they carry with them. Each smile, each laugh, and each memory shared reminds us just how blessed we are to have such remarkable women here with us.

We are truly grateful and honored to care for and celebrate these beautiful souls every day. Thank you to the amazing women of Shelby Manor for the legacy, love, and inspiration you continue to share with us. 💜

Today we celebrated National Son’s Day in the sweetest way possible, LITERALLY!!! We had a Ice Cream Social for all of our wonderful gentlemen 🍦💙

Many of the men in our community proudly carry titles like Dad, Brother, Uncle, and Grandpa… but long before any of those, they were someone’s son. Today, we took a moment to honor that simple but meaningful beginning.

It was such a joy to see smiles, hear laughter, and share sweet treats together. These incredible men have lived full lives, created beautiful legacies, and continue to bless our community every single day.

We are so grateful to celebrate the sons who grew into the strong, kind, and remarkable men we know and love today. 💙🍨

Join us on Friday, April 17th from 5:30–7:00 PM for an evening FULL of fun at Shelby Manor!

We are excited to host a FAMILY BINGO Night and would love for you to come spend quality time with your loved one while playing along. 💙

There will be prizes for our winners, lots of laughs, and plenty of memories made. This is sure to be a fantastic evening, and we can’t wait to see our dining room filled with smiling faces!

Big shout out to Todd with the Cleveland County Mobile Library 📚✨ for adding us to their monthly calendar!

We are beyond excited to share that they will now be visiting us every 4th Thursday of the month! 🙌❤️ Our residents were able to create their very own library cards and check out books — all within the comfort of their home. How amazing is that?! 🏡📖

This was such a heartwarming experience for everyone involved. Seeing the smiles, the excitement, and the love for reading truly meant so much. 💕 Todd and his colleague, even took notes on their favorite genres and authors so they can bring back new selections tailored just for them at the next visit! 📝📚

We are incredibly grateful for this partnership and the opportunity to offer such a meaningful service to those we serve. Thank you for making a difference in our community — one book at a time! 🌟💙

💖💃 LOVE was truly in the air at Shelby Manor today! 🕺💖

Our Sweetheart Dance was an absolute HIT — filled with smiles, laughter, and sooo much love! 💕✨ We were beyond excited to welcome Ocean Blvd, featuring the amazing voices of Ralph Glenn and BJ Earl 🎤🎶 They had our residents swaying, singing along, and feeling all the Valentine vibes!

We enjoyed delicious refreshments and cupcakes 🧁🥤Another special moment today was our superlative ceremony 💝🏆 Each resident was honored with their very own award — a beautiful way to celebrate every personality, every smile, and every incredible life story. This special moment was all about recognizing how truly AMAZING our residents are, and it filled the room with happy faces and full hearts 🥹💗

From sweet love songs to dance floor memories, today was pure Valentine magic! 💘✨
And a HUGE special thank you to Kim and Trish for helping our Activity Director Chelsey make this beautiful event possible — I couldn’t have done it without you! 💐💖
