Across the nation, we are currently experiencing freezing temperatures. According to the latest forecast, this weather pattern is expected to continue for the next 10 days.

Please ensure that all necessary precautions are taken to protect homes from potential water damage from the elements.

Water/sewer pipes exposed to wind will freeze so make sure your skirting is in place and to replace any skirting that is missing.

Leaving a faucet dripping to prevent the water from freezing can freeze and build up in the sewer line, which can be 4’ to 50’ long.

Here are some recomnendations - turn your heat up, wash laundry, dishes, leave cabinet doors along exterior walls open to allow heat to reach the water lines, flush toilets periodically. During the overnight hours when water usage in much much lower, before you go to sleep, run the dishwasher (if you have one), or run a load of laundry and flush your toilets.

In the event that your pipes are frozen, call a licensed and insured contractor. NEVER use anything with an open flame or space heater under your home.

I want to yet again, thank all my volunteers who continuously are steadfast in being involved with helping my visions come to life!

Dec 10 at 5:00 pm is the deadline to register, there will be no exceptions at the door as occupancy is regulated!

Come and enjoy some crafts, letters to Santa station, goodies and don't forget, pictures with Santa.
