As we are moving into the dreadful cold & flu season, we are providing some extra education on the importance of handwashing!! We did a fun little experiment with a few Residents and staff members to take a deeper look at what can still be lingering behind if you don’t wash your hands thoroughly.

We all took a moment to honor all the veterans both past and present! We have several residents who are veterans, spouses of veterans, as well as, immediate family members of veterans. We had some very special guests stop in to celebrate and honor those who have served with us. A special thank you to the American Legion for making the day extra special ❤️

The results are in!!!!! The anticipation is finally over. It’s our pleasure to announce the winners from the 2025 annual pumpkin decorating contest 🥳 We managed to raise an incredibly impressive amount of $300 this year! This total will be donated/split between We Ride Bikes and Sweet-N-Low Customs.
We are so grateful for the experiences provided by both groups to our community for multiple years now. It has truly made a positive impact for the Residents and employees here at TCV ❤️

This is the “Boo Basket” up for grabs 🙂 stop by our Trunk or Treat this Saturday October 25th between 4pm and 7pm to drop in a free entry to win! There are so many goodies I couldn’t fit them all in one picture! Thank you to our preferred partner Brighton Hospice for putting this lovely basket together for us!

A quick reminder for our Annual Trunk or Treat this Saturday October 25th from 4pm to 7pm!!! We have lots of candy to give out! Sweet-N-Low Customs will be providing music and we have a “Boo Basket” up for grabs!! We can’t wait to see you all 🙂

We ride bikes is providing rides for our residents, every Wednesday, as well as every other Monday now! One of our amazing employees even got to go for a ride today!

This week we had a “picked from the garden” Lunch! Some of our residents helped prep for the meal by snapping some freshly picked green beans and then cooled off with a frozen sweet treat!

We strongly encourage hydration in our community and we are finding some fun new ways to do so! A group of residents and even some staff members enjoyed a snow cone today with various homemade syrup flavors.

Timber Creek Village Assisted Living operates communities in Lincoln, Litchfield, and Robinson, Illinois; Shelbyville, Indiana; and Columbia Falls and Havre, Montana. Our facilities are single level buildings and range from 39-40 large apartments; efficiency, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, and 2 bedroom deluxe options. Through the doors of Timber Creek Village, residents enjoy a warm atmosphere with a den/living room, club room with a fireplace and pool table, beauty/barber shop, fitness room, restaurant-style dining room, coffee bar, movie theatre, and beautiful outdoor areas. Our apartments include private bathrooms with walk-in showers, self-controlled thermostats, kitchens with refrigerators and microwaves, large walk-in closets, and individual patios; all utilities included. Timber Creek Village provides a home for seniors to live an independent lifestyle, while recognizing that some may need assistance with certain aspects of daily living. With this goal, we offer an array of personal services provided by professional and friendly staff committed to each resident’s emotional and physical needs. Timber Creek Village services include, but are not limited to, 24-hour emergency response system with certified staffing, 3 full service, nutritional meals & snacks, housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance services, transportation to local medical appointments, assistance with self-administration of medication, blood pressure and weight monitoring, and assistance with bathing.
