Celebrating 25 years doing massage in Shelby Co!!!!!
What started as a side gig turned into a life long profession.
I loved working in the dental field but found my passion in doing massage!
Doing everything from infant & pregnancy massage & training sessions at the FAC, to health fairs, nurses day, teachers appreciation , wedding parties, Christmas parties at Humana,Louisville metros Christmas extravaganzas, Kohls for men ,corporate chair massage, taking chair or table to hospitals, nursing homes, factories, parties, couple massage outcalls, sports events, golf tournaments, relay for life, heart assoc events, St Jude bikeathon, church events, street festivals… working with people in the Saddebred community for many years….have done a little of it all. It’s been an honor to be with clients through illness, happy events, & at the end of their life when asked to be there …holding their hand, praying with them.
Proudly serving Shelby, Henry, Jefferson, Franklin, Oldham, & other surrounding counties & a small group of people from Indiana!
I have-clients facing depression , injury recovery, common aches & pains, carpal tunnel , headaches, low back pain, fibromyalgia , lupus, Parkinsons, MS, I have seen kids with autism, teens who play sports. Cancer, & all kind of autoimmune disorders. Even early ALS.
Many early referrals came from South East Christian from helping a Sunday school teacher in back pain. (Thanks Cliff)It started with some of his class coming or referring ,then some of their physicians sent Dr referrals. I had referrals from several Drs in Louisville I never even met. Talk about God working!
When I finally had a opportunity to build my dream …..Shelby County Massage & Alternative Therapies ..my husband became sick with terminal brain cancer.
I worked with some great therapist. One of the best I ever knew worked with me at Simpsonville 14 years.. she suddenly passed away the month before Fred was diagnosed. He passed 10 months after surgery & treatments failed…& just weeks later my 4 year old granddaughter was diagnosed with leukemia & she started the fight for her life.
I was in no frame of mind to expand, do business plan, hire help, move to larger more expensive location ….so Jan 2015 I closed my shop & went on my own just doing what I could handle. 2014-2015
Worse time of my life.
But God has blessed me with the most loyal people who have followed me through it all. Thank you & thank you for your support & business.
I plan to work as long as God gives me strength to do so.
