Ashley Vandergriff

We are excited to recognize Ashley Vandergriff, a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant who serves both Carriage House Inn and The Heart Remembers. Ashley has been a valued member of our team since August of 2025, and in that time, she has consistently shown compassion, reliability, and a genuine heart for caring for others.
Ashley brings kindness and professionalism to her role every day, helping ensure our residents feel safe, supported, and respected. Her commitment to quality care and her positive presence make a meaningful difference for both residents and fellow team members.
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband, Baran, their children, and her family & friends who are an important part of her life and motivation.
If you see Ashley out and about, please give her a hug, a handshake, a pat on the back, or even just a thank you will do!

To our Caregivers and Nurses, thank you for your tireless compassion, skill, and commitment- you are all the backbone of the care that we provide.
To our Dietary Team, thank you for the nourishing meals provided daily with care, and kindness.
To our Maintenance Team, thank you for keeping our residents’ home safe, comfortable, and running smoothly- often behind the scenes, always with dedication.
To our Housekeeping Team, thank you for creating a clean, welcoming environment that always feels like home.
To our Activity Staff, thank you for bringing joy, consistent laughter, and meaningful moments to every day.
To our Executive Director & Director of Nursing, thank you for the work you both do, and the care you bring to it. Our community is stronger because of you.

The residents at The Heart Remembers engaged in a new activity, "Dine & Dash Floor Hockey", on Tuesday afternoon. Amongst the staff, we had to drag Trena Cook in as well to goal for the pink team. It was equally enjoyed by us all. 😀
Meanwhile over at Carriage House Inn the residents enjoyed Mexican Train Dominoes with Mary Ellen.

We are pleased to announce our Walking Club winner for the month of February, who has reached a total of 8,880 estimated steps, corresponding to just over 4 miles walked throughout Walking Club days.
