Purely only motivated to get out of bed this AM by 1. Coffee 2. Warming up and easing aches in the Infrared Sauna 3. Using the Red Light Therapy on MYSELF!
I have been working hard to get this old hallway floor down to the original hardwood now and not have it look like 💩 as I no longer plan to cover it up! I just can't! But, of course all that hard work comes with a few added😫 and🥱. It's satisfying work, but also tedious! So I finally decided to Dr. MYSELF (and Britters) with my famous treatment rooms 🥰
I also read a good article this AM about RLT vs Infrared Sauna, here are some key interesting points:
*Infrared saunas generate waves that go under the skin, and are preferred because they warm the body rather than the air.
*Used for pain relief of arthritis, muscle soreness, and arthritic related pain which have been found to be significantly reduced with regular use.
Infrared saunas are also beneficial for improving circulation and boosting the immune system, as well as improved sleep, skin health through opening up pores, and detoxification.

Red Light Therapy
*Collagen and elastin are produced under red light, reducing fine lines and wrinkles and improving skin damage.
*Wound healing and anti inflammation with production of white blood cells
*Hair growth by strengthening follicles
*Muscle recovery with enhanced blood flow and circulation, which also improves energy levels
*Joint pain relief~people with rheumatoid arthritis are being prescribed RLT by physicians

RLT can help alleviate a number of issues and improve skin's appearance, relieving stiffness and pain, as well as promoting relaxation😌
This can be done in a 20-30 minute session, relax in the recliner with a massage and heating pad for your back, pair it with the wonderful compression boots to ease leg swelling and pain, even throw in a paraffin dip treatment for ease of dry skin and achy joints in hands and fingers!😲

WDYFMTAYFTDDTW!?!?
HAPPY MONDAY BODY SHOP FANS!! It's that Magical Monday time of the week where we find out what the heck Britney and I did this weekend!
*Friday was our final Freshman year Friday Night Lights for Tyson where we DEMOLISHED DECORAH! Ty Ty got some great tackles and did his thing out there and was so fun to watch!
On the way home, we Had to get some Mabe's pizza, and when we got back to Waverly, it was DQ and car wash party!
*Saturday I worked on this SUPER FUN floor project🥴, then got cleaned up to go out for dinner and to a gorgeous wedding reception
*Sunday AM I saw a few more clients, worked on the floor, and then home to watch a disappointing game and snuggle with the pups🥰
TODAY: My girl Pandorah starts working here!🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳She is going to help me with all the things and clients and Britney and I are freaking BEYOND excited for this!

I've been WAITING to say this: It's chilly outside but the Infrared Sauna is toasty warm and will take the chill out of your bones! (And the chill out of your soul as these months go on😆) Come grab a warm mug of coffee and refreshing water and let The Body Shop by Kelli restore you from the inside out!
Had a new box of goodies arrive today which we will unbox later!🥳
But for now I am going to relax with the weens at home for a bit and dream of winter projects and hair colors I probably won't get done🤣

What Did Your Favorite Massage Therapist And Your Favorite Therapy Dog Do This Weekend!?
*Friday it was Friday Night Lights as we watched Tyson and his team absolutely DOMINATE
* The Outlaws came up this weekend to help us work on installing the new flooring, after we got about half the hallway torn up, we realized the flooring that we got wasn't going to work well, so we got to return all that and pick out something different 🫠
*Saturday evening we wined and dined our helpers by taking them to the best steak house in the Midwest; Iowa Prime House just up the street! Between us we had the Prime rib, bone in pork chop, orange glazed chicken and summer squash grown right in the owners gaden!😲 We didn't have a single bad bite, excellent service, excellent food, so blessed to have these guys in our town!
*Sunday AM my sweet niece Kara came up for some treatment as she hasn't been feeling her best between being a senior at Iowa State and busy with work! We did a neck, head and sinus rub, we relaxed together in the Salt Room, she did red light/UV tanning, AND the sauna! By the end of her visit, she was feeling much better!🥰 I'm so incredibly glad we were able to help and spend some quality time with this firecracker 😄
*Early this AM I finally placed my order for my red light panel and a red light knee wrap, a massage and heating pad for the Recovery Room, and some fluffy robes!
Things are coming together sloooowly, but surely, and the journey is the most fun part!

IT'S FRIDAY BODY SHOP FANS! WE MADE IT!!🥂 Yesterday Britney Spears and I had a great visit to LaJames and had a good number of people interested in joining our space, including a number of estheticians! (Look it up🤣)
This Weekend will be shop shutdown as we are going to be laying the new hallway, and hopefully beyond flooring! I am determined to teach myself how to lay vinyl plank flooring in this small room, hopefully without wasting too much product and my money.....😬 YouTube makes it look so easy😔
Last night was Link's final football game! He is one determined little dude and always fun to watch. A couple more Freshman games remain for Ty, then it's on to 🏀!
And these CUPS! Our niece Maggie has some incredible artistic talent and is getting her start in entrepreneurship by selling this first absolutely ADORABLE batch of glass cups with bamboo lid. I am OBSESSED! They just make your iced coffee taste top tier!🧋 You can get one of these exclusives here at The Rock Wellness Center for only $10! And I believe custom orders will be up next so keep that in mind with 🎅 around the corner!
Ok! Spears and I are going to get a quick workout in before getting back to work, then head south this afternoon to Lowe's, Menard's etc for more project materials!🫣

Britney Spears and I are prepping to head down to the LaJames Career Fair later this AM to see if anyone wants to come be a part of our shenanigans! I am a little nervous just because, well, being social etc. lol, but I think it will be a fun experience! I'm looking for the best of the best who will fit into our fun, family style, laid back environment because that's what our amazing town DESERVES! Wish us luck!🥳🐾
