It may be all 'weather-y' out, but we know you still need to know What Did Your Favorite Massage Therapist And Your Favorite Therapy Dog Do This Weekend??????????🤔
On Friday we got to babysit one of our favorite cuties, Niko!!🥰 That evening we got to go to a Black Hawks Hockey Game with the Trinity Rail crew! It was so fun!
Saturday we got Britney's dad, Waylon, out of the house and took him to Scooters...so he wasn't quite as calm as he let on once we got up to the window..but a pup cup save the lives of the baristas!🤣 We then traveled south to Scheels where it seemed to be Shell Rock day! I got pics with Kurty Munson, Shane Spree, and Sue Sinwell! The fun didn't stop there, we popped in to Ulta where we got to see Layla doing her thang!!🥰
BDubs was the destination for lunch and we even got to hang out with Pandorah Winter and Matthew Longlett 😍😍
On Sunday I spent some time at the shop and got a visit from my baby Link Zahrt and his buddy!
Today we can be up at the shop as needed, so just reach out if you need anything!

You know know how ants are tiny, but have like 10-50 times the strength as relative to their size?? That is this lil lady right here!!
Meet Pandorah Winter, my right AND left hand gal, 'Executive Manager' of the TRWC and BSBK, my pride and joy, my rock, my stepdaughter!!
I got to add her to my roster in 2013 when Aaron Winter and I began our incredible relationship. She never batted an eye, never shied away from a new parent coming into her world, let alone 3 little siblings!! She has one hell of a fire that burns bright within her, has been challenged in her life through many things, and just does.not.back.down. I couldn't wait to be able to have her work with me and totally hold down the fort here, and she does one HELL of a job. She greets cleints with a sweet smile, ensures they feel comfortable, cleans, paints, redecorates, creates fabulous shirts, does the tech-y stuff that baffles this old gal, and snuggles Britney as needed!
She surprises me daily with her creativity and talent, and I cannot wait to continue to grow what we have here with her by my side. These words only scratch the surface of the immense respect I have for Pandorah and the growth she shows daily.
Thank you for taking the chance on me to join BSBK, TRWC, and to be your MOM🥰🥰 Every day with you is better than the last!🥳🐾

It's PIPER DAY!!! Where do I begin!?! Piper Wild of Wild Tranquility Massage Therapy came into my life via her mama, who has become my best fran!, and I've been able to enjoy watching Piper's journey of growing up and becoming the incredible, incredible human being that you see before you today!! When Piper was in massage therapy school, she asked if she could practice her massage technique on me, and I was INSTANTLY SOLD. I knew that one day I wanted her to work with me if I ever got the chance to grow my practice. As soon as this girl lays a finger on you, muscle tightness vanishes, it is true magic. I refer anyone who will listen over to her in order to get the chance at this experience. Aside from her crazy hands on talents, she is such a kind soul and there is a calmness in her presence.🩷 Her smile and joy for life has been an addition to our TRWC Family that I will be forever grateful for. Thank you for being here and sharing your gifts with us and our community Piper!! We 🩵 you!!!

Today we celebrate the one and only Kate Nitz!!! This is one of those girls that the first time I met her, I really had to hold myself back from saying, "Can we please be best friends?!" 🥹🤣 Kate Nitz is another TRWC Family member whom I initially met as a client, and when she inquired about renting a space, it was an immediate "hell yes." She's a Mental Health Counselor under Olive Branch Counseling and is also a counselor to the lucky students at Wapsie Valley Schools. This girl also has four kids whom she loves fiercely and holds it all down with grace and girl boss vibes that make you want to be part of her world! Kate Nitz, I have no idea how you do it all, but you are such an incredible addition to our TRWC Family and the Shell Rock community; we've won the lottery with you!!!🥰

Today we highlight and honor Lisa Hazelton Grantham of rolling prairie yoga company !
Lisa is another TRWC member whom I met initially as a client and I was beyond excited when she asked me about teaching her yoga class upstairs. Just to be around this lady is to immediately feel at peace 😌 Her yoga classes bring a much needed unique aspect to health and overall well being to our community, she also generously teaches chair yoga at Benny Gambaiani Public Library here in Shell Rock.
In addition, Lisa has recently completed schooling and passed her boards to become a Licensed Massage Therapist, and also practices the beautiful art of Ayurveda. She will be bringing this craft to our space soon as well!!
If you are lucky enough to know Lisa, you know that peace and blessings are on their way🩵

Today we highlight the next member of our TRWC Family; Chelle Rae of Shake It With Shelley! Shelley and I initially met as she was a client of mine, she told me about her Zumba Classes and needing a new space to hold them, I had heard about her classes before and so many people who loved them! I was honored to begin to create a fun space for this, and thankful for Shelley's patience as that happened!
I've never seen this gal without a sparkling smile on her face, and her classes will make you smile, sweat, and have FUN!!
Her Zumba Classes are starting back up soon>on March 19 at 6:30 PM. Shelley can be found upstairs at The Rock Wellness Center on Thursday's at 6:30, but follow her page Shake It With Shelley for any last minute changes or updates!

🎵People let me tell ya 'bout my BEST FRIEND!🎵
Today we highlight my First partner at The Body Shop, my baby Britney Spears!!
Britney was born on May 16, 2021 and this event occurred right on my LAP!! So we have been bonded together since moment one🥰
I started to bring Britney to my shop for 2 reasons; 1. To keep me company 2. To ease the 'awkardness' of getting a massage and to put clients at ease.🩷 OK, so she's not always the best at this part, as 'Barky Dog' likes to greet clients rather loudly as most of you know!😬 BUT, once the dust settles, she really wants your love, and actually wants to give you her love! I have noticed some really unique experiences of her becoming an empath, she once climbed onto a client and laid right on their belly, this client had been experiencing severe stomach pain that particular day, and Britney typically lays on the legs, it just seemed like she knew. She sticks by people who need her the most, but we often misunderstand what she is trying to tell us as she tells us rather LOUDLY lol! We are still working on this, while kind of allowing her to still express herself and be protective of her space. So, if you get the privilege of meeting her, please be patient and understanding, she brings me a lot of joy and peace, she is my best friend, she is OUR BRITNEY SPEARS!!!🥲🥰
OH! Also you should know the story behind her name, when her mama, Felicia was pregnant, she waddled around with her blonde hair, and pink harness like a crop top, and pregnant belly hanging all out, looking like....you guessed it-BRITNEY SPEARS!

It's MONDAY!!! That means it's time for your favorite Monday Morning Tradition....
WHAT DID YOUR FAVORITE MASSAGE THERAPIST AND YOUR FAVORITE THERAPY DOG DO THIS WEEKEND!?!?!
While the hubs was gone for work last week, I got the brilliant idea to try and do a mini-not-so-mini makeover in the upstairs of the shop. Painting the tin ceiling to a charcoal gray color with copper accents-has been a gorgeous project, but has kicked my Arse! I don't know if it was this or what gave me a terrible sinus infection~and I got to the point where I had taken enough ibuprofen that my stomach hurt😒, so I had to find another solution for relief>>>DUH! Try your own therapies! To the Salt Room I went on Sunday morning, and it really relieved my sinus headache and eased my congestion! It was just neat to be able to experience this specific relief for myself. I am so grateful I have these services also! And some time in the Infrared Sauna really helped to ease my muscle aches🥰 If you are feeling sick and need a session, please come in! And if cost is an issue, I've got you! Just pay what you can, get relief😇

Hooray for Salt Therapy Week! We have had quite a few people coming in to experience this one of a kind treatment for a multitude of issues. Did you know we also have things to do in the Salt Room if you can't just lay back and relax? Cribbage, Domino's and cards will keep your mind sharp while your body heals!
