TURKEY THAWING TIPS 🦃

If you’re thawing your turkey in the fridge here’s what you need to plan for:
• 4–12 lbs: 1–3 days
• 12–16 lbs: 3–4 days
• 16–20 lbs: 4–5 days
• 20–24 lbs: 5–6 days

Keep it in the original packaging on a tray and tucked into the coldest part of your fridge (under 40°F).

Need it faster? Use the cold-water method: keep the wrapped turkey fully submerged in cold water and change the water every 30 minutes.
⏱️ 30 minutes per pound (so a 16 lb turkey = about 8 hours)

We are celebrating National Assisted Living Week and had the pleasure of spending time with our Administrator, Kayla Higgins. It is always a delight to visit this facility. We were impressed by the significant growth of their garden. Interacting with Kayla, her team, and the residents has been a truly enjoyable experience.
