🧿Resistance is sneaky😏

It shows up disguised as procrastination, perfectionism, busyness, or even the opinions of others that we allow to steer us away from our true path.
::
Pressfield calls it “Resistance” with a capital R because it’s not just a feeling, it’s a force. It doesn’t want us to create, to grow, to move forward. It wants us stuck.
::
Here’s how it creeps in:
▪️Influence of others: When we care too much about approval or rejection, Resistance wins. The noise of the world can silence our inner voice if we let it.
▪️Lack of clear boundaries: Without strong personal morals and values, we drift. Resistance thrives when we don’t stand rooted in what we believe.
▪️Procrastination vs. showing up: Resistance loves to whisper, “I’ll start tomorrow.” But tomorrow never comes. The difference between the amateur and the professional (as Pressfield says) is simple: the professional shows up, even when they don’t feel like it.

✨ The antidote to Resistance is action. Tiny, consistent action.
When you honor your own boundaries, trust your inner compass, and show up to the work (even messy, even imperfect) you beat Resistance one breath, one rep, one word at a time.
