Recent studies show that vaccine-derived immunity provides increased and longer-lasting protection than natural immunity. Building immunity in more people, even if it is only a few at a time, is important for protecting everyone against a highly contagious disease like measles. Vaccines are the piece of the puzzle that keep our communities safe and healthy — and we have the science to prove it. 🧪🔬🛡️✅💪

Check out this video from Vaccinate Your Family that shares great insight on how we know vaccines are safe and effective! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEhC5bAW_4I&t=69s

Today we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Dr. King’s vision of justice, equity, and compassion continues to guide us—especially in medicine, where the pursuit of health equity and dignity for all remains essential. As physicians and healthcare leaders, we reaffirm our commitment to serving every patient with respect, empathy, and excellence.
“Of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health care is the most shocking and inhumane.” — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
