We hosted an Easter Luncheon, followed by an afternoon Easter Egg hunt. The Easter Bunny was caught by the residents just long enough to snap some pictures. Laura found the Golden Egg and won the Easter Basket. Happy Easter and season's blessings from Maple Glen Assisted Living !!🐇🥕🥚🍬🍫

Saint Patrick's Day at Maple Glen Assisted Living. We served Corned Beef and cabbage with roasted potatoes and carrots. Dessert was a Waldorf salad and the beverages included a Green Beer and Shamrock Punch.

Had a great week at Maple Glen Assisted Living. We took some of our residents out to lunch at El Sarape Shelton on Thursday. Then today we had a visit from a Christian Bell Choir from Eastern Washington.

Had a Manicure session today at Maple Glen Assisted Living. Not all the ladies wanted their pictures taken, but I got a few. 💅

Today was the last day of our Activities Professional's Spirit Week at Maple Glen Assisted Living. We started things off on Sunday (25th) was Pajama Day where we had a pajama party. Monday we had an outdoors theme with Nerf Target Practice. Tuesday had a Disco theme and we hosted a Disco Sing-along. Wednesday was themed Wild West and we had a Dolly Parton themed Happy Hour. We hosted a Dolly Parton Sing-along and served a signature cocktail and Mock-tail. Thursday's theme was Island Vibes and we had a Luau. A hula dancer entertained and taught our residents a few hula dances. We featured a Tropical Margarita and Punch, along with Hawaiian meatballs, chips with a mango salsa and pineapple cupcakes. Friday was Sports Day with many featuring their Seahawks gear(GO HAWKS!!). We had a sports tournament in which we featured Co****le, Tic/Tac/Toe, Connect Four, Hungry Hippos and a Foot Race. And for Saturday we had an 80's theme where we had an 80's MTV Glow Party. We had soft drinks, punch, cheese balls, pretzels and 80's music videos to sing along to.

We had the honor of hosting a Union Ceremony for a couple at Maple Glen Assisted Living. Laura and Alan both came to our community separately. Found each other organically and fell in love. With the support of their families, Alan and Laura made their partnership official. They invited the community to witness their union in the Dining Room. Dave played music and Kat performed the union. Laura made a punch, Kat baked from beef smokies wrapped in puff pastry and Crystal baked the cake. Here's to the happy couple!!🥂🍾👩‍❤️‍👨👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨

We had our monthly birthday celebration today. Featured is Marvin and John but we also recognized Jackie. Happy Birthday from Maple Glen Assisted Living!!

Maple Glen Assisted Living had our monthly Lunch Outing today. Residents got to go to our local Happy Teriyaki Wok. The wind was blowing cold but the food was hot. We greatly appreciated the wonderful service from their staff. (Pictured from left to right: Pat, Art, Marijke, Christine and Sue)
