Jo is 4 years old and I’m 18.5 weeks pregnant.

First of all, I don’t recommend breaking a fever in most instances. It’s your bodies natural response to illness and breaking it can prolong illness.

Right away we started sipping water. I have been loving Body Bio Remineralize and Sole water.

We laid in front of our red light device for about 30 minutes that night and the next morning.

👃 We each took Nasomin Which I thankfully had on hand. This prevents viral replication in the nasal passage.

I have Jo 4 tabs of D Hist Jr. for vitamin C and Quercitin. Vitamin C helps recycle Quercitin and improve its effectiveness and Quercitin helps drives zinc into the cell.

Zinc + elderberry (found at Dollar General). Not my optimal support but I didn’t have my basics on hand. I gave her about 15 mg of zinc. I took 50 mg. Zinc directly inhibits viral replication. Elderberry is antiviral and helps balance the immune system.

Extra liver support: I had some Liver Love in hand and dosed that according to the bottle. I also included bitter foods in my diet to help support bile flow.

I had some onion, garlic, infused raw honey already made up so we did a couple servings of that too. This is an antimicrobial and also rich in Quercitin and Allicin.

We each took an Epsom salt bath. I used 2 cups of salt in her bath, I used 4 cups in mine. I always rinse off quickly afterwards in cool to cold water to further enhance the effects. We both applied topical magnesium too. This helps with sleep and 400+ other enzymatic processes.

Extra vitamin D3 K2. Your body will muse more while you are ill.

We ate lots of vitamin C rich foods and got 3+ hours of sunlight with some grounding on Monday.

Jo woke up fever free on Monday and by mid Monday morning, we were feeling 100% back to normal. I continued the nasal spray for both of us.

Insulin resistance leads to mitochondria and metabolic slow down meaning you burn less fat.

High insulin levels lead to increased higher and food intake due to cravings from flu crusting glucose levels. No wonder you feel like your appetite is out of control.

High insulin signals the body to store more energy and not release it. Hello fatty liver and abdominal fat.

If you have leptin resistance your brain may not get the signal that you are full, leading to more hunger and more weight gain.

If you’re only looking at your A1C and glucose but noticing any of the above, check leptin and insulin with your next lab draw!

I 💯 get all the confusion around diet! There are so many trendy diets, and there is so much noise around what the perfect diet is.

The truth is, your perfect diet may be different than mine! If you have insulin resistance or leptin resistance, you need to make some dietary changes. Usually that means significantly lowering your carbohydrate intake for a period of time.

In the winter months, we generally should be eating lower carbohydrate due to less carbohydrate availability. Failure to follow a seasonal diet will lead to chronic inflammation and ultimately disease.

For more support, book a 1:1 session with me and we’ll come up with the perfect plan for you.

1. CBC with differential to look at your fasting glucose.
2. Hemoglobin A1C to look at your average glucose level over the past three months.
