Heel pain isn’t always “just” plantar fasciitis.
If you’re experiencing persistent heel pain—especially along the back of the heel or the bottom of the foot—it could be a sign of psoriatic arthritis (PsA).

PsA can cause inflammation where tendons and ligaments attach to bone, a condition called enthesitis. One of the most common places this happens? The heel.

Watch for symptoms like:
• Aching or stabbing heel pain
• Morning stiffness that improves as you move
• Swelling or tenderness around the heel
• Pain that worsens after rest, not just activity
• A history of psoriasis or nail changes

Early diagnosis makes a huge difference in preventing long-term joint damage.
