As an Intake Specialist with Pathema GX Lab, you will be conducting outbound calls to patients that have expressed interest in learning more about genetic test offerings we have for their medical diagnosis. The patient experience and education is a critical function of your role. You will be gathering information from the patient to be sent to their Primary Care Physician, for approval of the genetic test. You will need to have the skills to navigate multiple systems at once to gather all the information needed for the doctor, but don’t worry – we provide paid training to get you started!
Responsibilities
Conduct Outbound calls to educate Patients interested in genetic testing.
Gather and document the information needed from the patients for lab reqs for Doctors.
Provide excellent service through active listening on every interaction.
Demonstrating proper empathy-driven education on what Pathema offers and how it benefits the patients.
Utilizing and toggling a multitude of desktop applications for proper patient information documentation.
Work with confidential customer information and treat it sensitively while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
Aim to ensure patients are excited about receiving their genetic test results.

Qualifications
What We’re Looking for
Logical problem-solving skills
Availability to work various shifts
Strong conversation and intake skills
Ability to use Windows operating systems
Ability to use multiple data entry systems at once
Over 18 years of age
High School Graduate or GED
Background check required
Predictable and reliable attendance with a 6 month work commitment minimum
What We Prefer
6 -12 month Call Center experience preferred
Consistent work history
Proven oral & written communication skills
Health Care Experience
Schedule:
Must have the availability to work Monday - Friday 10:00am to 6:30pm (one day off during week) + Saturday 9:00am to 5:30pm
Training is M-F your first week 9:00am - 4:00pm
